Yeah, Liverpool fan (allegedly), with a Manchester hate name... Just kinda messed up. New poster, jumps in with all kinds of opinions about other fans not being as good a fan as he is... ugh. He's on ignore at record speed. <plonk!>

Chelski drop 2 more points vs. Southampton, Man U win again, thank goodness they waited so long to sack Jose. And Wolves lose 2-0 at home to Palace. Sigh.

Pulisic to Chelsea sickens me, by the way.

United’s last minute comeback against Burnley had the air of the old United about it – accepting of course the old United wouldn’t have been 2-0 down in the 89th minute to Burnley. Still, Solskjaer is going to make it very difficult for the board to not offer him the full time job if he keeps this up.

One can only hope he is like DiMateo (from a few years ago at Chelsea).

That was my thought too. Perhaps not a great manager, but earn the results that make it a very difficult decision for the board. I won’t shed a tear if he’s the manager come August and sacked by December as United continue to amble about.

Maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing if the gaffer left after all - today he was going on AGAIN about how the cups are not important and that we would be competing against Real Madrid in the future - frankly, it is getting tiresome and is a total lack of respect to the supporters. I would say that somebody from the board get a hold of him and tell him to put a lid on it, but they have the same lack of ambition. How can you talk about competing with Real Madrid when you haven't signed a player since last January? Would Real Madrid let Toby Alderweireld walk for 25 million quid?

Not a bad night for us, Citeh lose and United drop 2 points to Burnley. I really like their keeper Heaton, he is young, English and brilliant, while Lloris is starting to approach his best-before date.

no, I meant that Madrid let VdV walk to us for 8.

AVB letting him walk to HSV I don't wish to talk about. It's too painful.

Actually, just the simple mention of AVB is painful.

Re VdV, he was a luxury player for them and Mourinho didn't fancy him, but a perfect fit for us at the time. There is no way he would have got into a Pochettino side however, not fit enough.

    undoubtedly true.

and in AVB's defense, unlike Poch - who shipped him off to Hull after a few minutes' use in the summer - AVB (who was also inclined to move him on) gave Michael Dawson a chance, saw what he brought, and admitted that he was an 'immense' presence at the club.

good job for Poch that Toby and Verts have been so good … it's saved Poch more than a few blushes for having acted so rashly with Daws.

Anyone watching the City - Arsenal game?

Pep's gone shit or bust, amazing line up. Basically a 3-4-2-1 but the most attacking version in history - Sterling and Bernardo Silva as wing backs.

    This should be fun...

It was typical Pep and typical Arse - Pep had them in a back 3 when they had the ball and then Fernandinho would drop into a back 4 when they didn't have the ball (which wasn't often) - the Arse were their usual shambolic selves in defence and should have shipped 6 or 7 if not for their keeper.

Well, well, well...West Ham 1, Liverpool 1, didn't see that coming, the Spammers were a total shambles at Wolves last week.

Klopp was having a go at the ref Kevin Friend after the full time whistle, but he should be grateful they got a point, because their goal was way off-side, a shocking miss by the linesman. And then at the final kick of the game, Origi was played in (off-side again) and saw his weak attempt smothered by Old Flappy-Handsky. Maybe Liverpool's luck is starting to run out...

    5 points back, that's all. IT'S ON!

    Liverpool, home vs Bournemouth
Man City, away vs Everton then home vs Chelsea
    Spurs, home vs Leicester

Anyone see any dropped points in there? Maybe Solanke and Ibe to get one over an old club, Everton to have one of their on days, Higuain and Hazard to build on their partnership?
