While Timmy may not be enthused about trans-Atlantic trips for friendlies or even CONCACAF quallies, the WC is a different beast. He would have grown up watching the WC and the Euros. The hoopla and the opportunity to play in the biggest sporting event on the planet is going to get his attention. My guess is that we'll see him do what he needs to to make the squad. If he continues to play at his current level, I'm guessing BA will find a spot for him on the team.
He def has the current resume to make the squad, but he shouldn't be starting as he never shows it for the NT. Maybe another 1 of those guys who don't give it their all for their NT. No shame in that.
if bradley's struggles (and other players as well) can be partially blamed on JK - whether that was due to poor or non-existent tactics or wacked out lineup and rosters/playing players out of position etc - then i think chandler deserves a bit of benefit of the doubt to see if perhaps he can perfrom better under Arena who can give him a more clearly defined role and better instructions etc..... maybe chandler's struggles under Jurgen will not continue under Arena...and i find it odd people just assume chandler would be the exact same player under arena as he was under JK. .....chandler hasnt played yet for arena if im not mistaken.... ....if chandler would indeed be better under Arena it would be quite ironic that an american coach could get the best out of a germarican player while a german coach couldnt...
While Bradley looked lost without proper direction, he still looked 100% involved, devoted to the team. That's not the case with Chandler (or Johnson), so I doubt a change of manager is going to make much difference.
im sick of bradley ALWAYS getting a pass for all of his flaws ...while other players are dismissed for exaggerated/made up deficiencies...... maybe chandler and fabj would look more interested if they could go into games knowing they wouldnt have to watch bradley backpass for 90 minutes ...and render the team they are on toothless? how about that idea???
Sorry for the above. If you believe the bookies, they are placing Frankfurt midtable - 10th or 11th place.
Starts the opener on the road against Freiburg this morning. Eintracht appear to not have a German national team eligible player in their starting lineup which is something I don't remember seeing in the Bundesliga.

Ended 0-0. Chandler was fine for he most part. A few decent moments going forward. Played as a wing back in 3-5-2 for most of the game. The extra center back seems to help deal with issues on the counter where he can be caught forward. Interesting he was moved to left center back for the last 10 minutes or so. Was fine there though did a fair amount of hoofing the ball forward after he sent a clearance wide which was picked up by Freiburg.

Did anyone ever figure out why he wasn't called or turned down the callup? There seems to be what is almost a coordinated hush about Chandler's GLARING omission from the qualifier list.
Just didn't want to miss that friendly today? Looks too much like Frankenstein for the Bruce? Worried about Trump's travel ban? Do you think we'll ever really know? The kid is playing well, let it be.
Trump heard that his nickname was J-Lo so he thought that meant he was a Mexican getting into the country illegally. 'Murica, shit yeah.
Bruce said something that because he hasn't played with the team at all in 2017, he didn't want to bring him in for this group of qualifying games
