Abramovich is building a $400 million mega-yacht. http://gizmodo.com/5059249/chelsea-...on-mega+yacht-with-submarine-missile-defenses
Two thoughts: 1) I know the tabloid media in Britain are agressive but this is a little extreme to avoid Fat Hack Neil Custis knocking on your door for a quote. 2) It is an act of war to sail into certain territories in an armed vessel. As Roman does not formally represent a country when he is pleasure cruising, is it possible that Chelsea can now declare war on countries whose football clubs don't sell us their players?
So if we happen to go into like a World War 3.....we know for a fact that our club will remain completely stable because we'll be 160 feet below water. Is there a football pitch in there too?
I worked a gig in Paul Allen's yacht, My Octopus in Galapagos. This is a $200 million yatch with two helicopters and a crew of 60! The stern opens up and there is a submarine and the owners skiff...real James Bond stuff. It was freakin' awesome! Closest I'll ever come to pure wealth! Though he didn't have a football pitch, there is a basketball court! Oh yeah - and a full music studio!
