Let Madrid have him. He'll put up ridiculous numbers against the majority of La Liga's dross teams and against Barca, Atleti, and in Europe he'll disappear.

They'll surround him with more talent, so if that does happen it won't hurt them as much as it hurts us.

If we're actually going to be serious about really adding talent to the team this summer, then of course we can't sell him. But if we're going intent on keeping things as is or reinforce only marginally, with the hopes we will ride him to the Promised Land, then we might as well cash in.
But I'm still very much on the no side when it comes to selling him at this time. Same goes with Dave: for anyone who thinks we are a laughingstock now, imagine how bad it will get if we allow our 2 best players to just leave. Not to mention practically, it simply does not make sense for it to happen either....

We won't sell him, even though we should, simply because of our brand. We HAVE to have a superstar face.

Nobody wants anything to do with Bale. Thinking Bale is worth 100 mil is crazy. The only way you guys are getting rid of him would be a loan similar to J.Rod...and even then, no thanks.

Virus is too strong, but as a guy that's looked at as a leader in the team he's an awful example. Pogba is thought of as our star and when everyone sees him strolling around giving zero effort it rubs off.

Oh wait, I'm literally describing a virus. So ugh, yeah maybe.

In this market? 180 to 200 mil easy.

He's a young, world cup winning B2B CM that does more than any other CM in the world. His problem hasn't been production its been that he's inconsistent.

Pogba is a high value commodity in the game, both on and off the pitch. And furthermore, United don't have to sell him right now. By virtue of that alone, if Real are so desperate to get him, they have to make it worth our while to even consider it.
Real might have rolled us once 10yrs ago with Ronaldo, but it shouldn't happen again with Pogs.
There are already rumors that his salary is already a potential stumbling block with them. And we'll be in a position to increase to hopefully get him to sign a new deal. Dream on if you believe you'll ever get him on the cheap from us...

I would bet my house that United does not get anywhere near that fee. But keep thinking that.

He probably wants to leave. Apparently he is a "virus" in the locker room(words of posters here). I don't believe he would come "on the cheap" but i think his value is closer to 125-150 than it is 180-200

If he puts in a transfer request and unequivocally claims he wants to leave, that will surely lower his value to us. But he hasn't come out and made such demands that we know of.
Woodward, for all his faults, is no pigeon and if Pogba goes, it will probably be for a significant fee. If it happens at all: let's hope Real have moved from fax machines at this point...

Bale is not worth £80 mil. Thats what Im laughing at. He's 30, getting worse and injury prone on high wages.

Im honestly starting to question this. If he was truly a box to box guy, we'd be able to play a 442 or a 2 man midfield.

Also maybe Im wrong but it seems Pogba either has good attacking games, or steady distribution/defensive games. His best spell at this club has basically come as a pseudo no. 10. When he's played as a double pivot, he doesnt have nearly the same impact on the offensive side of the ball and even distribution.

What do message board comments have to do with his value?

Don't be coy. It's not only in this message board. After every defeat he is the scapegoat across all of the English media.
