What's crazy to me is that the actual fee for him then likely really comes to 109 million pounds. 89 we have accounted for it seems - 62 to Juventus, 21 to Raiola, 6 to Le Havre/Paul himself.... But then another 20 goes to Raiola over the 5 year course of the deal.
My biggest worry with this investigation is that it will not screw with our dealings in the summer. This is going to be a vital window for the club and any disruption to it could end up being very costly. Plus, it seems to me that Raiola is the one who should be looked at pretty closely. His dealings look weird, especially with all that extra money that always seems to head to him.
Interesting world the one football agents live in. Unbelievable how they manage to pull this stuff off... www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/premier-league/revealed-the-documents-that-show-the-huge-payday-superagent-mino-raiola-got-from-paul-pogbas-record-transfer-35697285.html
SSDD ! Paul Pogba has difficulty showing his worth but Manchester United progress https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2017/may/11/paul-pogba-manchester-united-celta-vigo
BS sees more appropriate. Pogba has been nothing short of excellent since he's returned from his short injury layoff, particularly in both legs of the Celta tie. And I know he's young still, but I've been impressed with his physical stamina as we get to the close of the season. He's looked refreshed and strong, when I expected him to lag a bit, because he'd be gassed.
Yesterday he played well and created chances only to be spoiled by his team mates. In fact both mkhi and him started good counters only to find that no one was following them to box or didnt convert their chances. I worry that if we don't play him in optimal positions and surround him with better players either he will move on or he will actually become a financial lose like ADM and others.
He's not weak minded like ADM and he's not going to just leave anytime soon, that's just being overly dramatic. Jose and the club know full well that we need an upgrade in talent, especially at the offensive end and everything suggests he will get it. Now whether the guys brought in are the best compatible fit for him, that remains to be seen. But Pogba will not just abandon the team so quickly like Di Maria did. That will never happen...
Prayers to the Pogba family. At the risk of reducing what's truly important in life to football, one has to believe that Fassou's passing away will inspire Paul to give everything he's got in Stockholm. EDIT: Which he would, anyway. What I mean is the added emotional element for Fassou's son.
I would let him sit out tomorrow's game no need for him to play. Top four is out of the question and Spurs have nothing to play for.
Pogba is mourning the loss of his father. As such, I don't expect him to be in the squad tomorrow. Wouldn't play him vs Soton either, give him time to grieve especially since he's not needed. Perhaps vs Palace to give him a jog at the end of the game, but I'm not even sure I'd do that. Same would apply to Herrera as well for me.
Wrong. Rest him this weekend, no question, but he'll need at least one tuneup match before the cup final. Probably a full 90 v Southampton and then 45 v Palace.
There is zero need to play Pogba either tomorrow or midweek vs Soton, which will probably be close to his father's funeral btw. Let him have those 2 games off and come back for CP, where we play him for a half tops. He's not going to lose any sharpness or fitness in such a short period of time.
Jose has all but confirmed also that Pogba will not be taking part in tomorrow's game vs Soton. Too close to the funeral, which will be either today or tomorrow. Plus, he's simply not in condition to think football right now and he will be given the time he needs to grieve.
Belle victoire en plus je dédicacé mon but à mon Pap 🙏🏾 nice team win, my goal is for my Pap @ManUtd #MUFC #HereToCreate. pic.twitter.com/QKqCs7EjAM— Paul Pogba (@paulpogba) May 21, 2017
