A quick google search just told me that Pogba doesn’t have an official Snapchat. So who’s wrong now? But my problem is more with his brothers and agent doing his talking for him. The media stuff is just further proof to me that this club doesn’t matter much to him. Especially at a time when everyone is questioning his dedication here, there are simple things he could do to put that to rest.
You are still wrong because like i said i watch him regularly. He can do a a better job of shutting up his brothers, but up until lately he's done a decent job dealing with the agent. You can tell by the initial story from last week.
I’ll take your word re social media. I watch Instagram casually and don’t see much from him with United mentioned. I don’t have Snapchat.
By the time I learn to use one, a new one comes out. I’ll stick with Instagram and Twitter. Plus I’m fine admitting my life isn’t interesting enough to constantly tell people what I’m doing.
“I think Paul Pogba will stay at Man United until the end of the season.”“People have setbacks when they come back from injuries, that’s the case.”“They need him back in the team.” 💯@MickyGray33 expects Paul Pogba to stay at #MUFC despite speculation. pic.twitter.com/rdeua5wYjv— talkSPORT (@talkSPORT) January 2, 2020 Anything can happen when it comes to transfers, but it's amazing to me that anyone would think that United would ever entertain selling Pogba this month. Different matter in the summer obviously, but now and after yesterday's revelations, it would be just be crazy and nonsensical on so many levels. Seeing how people have reacted about the news about him having surgery though, it really sunk in for me why he rarely addresses anything publicly (despite being heavy into social media, which is so ironic). Doesn't matter what he says, you'll still have people who have plenty to say about it one way or another. He was given shit when walking around in a cast and a protective boot: why even bother?
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...meback-matches-against-Watford-Newcastle.html Pogba has already had the procedure done on his foot today and is expected to miss 6wks. Apparently, he wasn't fully fit when he came back and played thru the pain because he felt he needed to. That would explain everything: why he made cameo appearances and why Ole seemed more cautious than we've seen him previously. In the end, it was all in vain unfortunately. Really when it comes to ankle injuries, all bets tend to be off: we've seen it firsthand with the likes of McTominay and Bailly last season. Hopefully, him getting surgery today will have taken care of the issue properly and I don't doubt he'll work hard to come back better than ever and help us finish the season strong.
Paul Pogba's just had ankle surgery and has posted an Instagram story while high as a kite 😂 pic.twitter.com/EjNUDZxSob— Sport Social Podcast Network (@TheSportSocial) January 7, 2020 Part 2: "CHOCOLATE!" "I can drink my pee pee" 😂 #MUFC pic.twitter.com/PO9lSC9bX9— Sport Social Podcast Network (@TheSportSocial) January 7, 2020
Interesting that the ankle bandaged in the first video above that he looks at post-op is his left - presumably this is what was operated on? The injury that kept him out most of the season was definitely his right;
More Raiola on Paul Pogba: "He went back to @ManUtd when lot of people didn’t think he would. People forget that. He chose Man Utd, maybe Ferguson didn’t like it, but he did. Everyone knows the ambitions of the club have not been met in the last few years, let’s be honest."— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) January 22, 2020 Raiola has a point there: Woodward and United have failed him on the back of false promises that the rebuild he was expected to be a big part of, was just at the beginning. Raiola on Pogba injury: "As soon as possible, as soon as is allowed and as soon as it is responsible to do. Maybe his willingness to come back before, he should have waited before so he might be there now. We don’t want to make that mistake again."— Simon Stone (@sistoney67) January 22, 2020
The Pogs (and to an extent the continental players) agenda is alive and well... Scholes: "I don't think Pogba is on his way back [from injury] and even if he is on way back, he'll be moaning about something else to try and not play - try to get his move away from the club." #mufc [Premier League Productions]— United Zone (@ManUnitedZone_) January 23, 2020 "I don't get Paul Pogba... He just upsets the dressing room. He has too much influence on the younger players."@MCATEER4 knows who to blame for #MUFC's demise. #beINPL #MUNBUR👉 https://t.co/WV13QNyk6M pic.twitter.com/RY4wEuyQVy— beIN SPORTS (@beINSPORTS_EN) January 22, 2020 The guy is not even playing right now, hasn't for a long, long time. Out with a legitimate injury and this is what he gets from those people. Unbelievable and absolutely shameful from all those journos and pundits. They can all go fvck themselves when it comes to this subject. It's 24/7 from them with this shit. Hey Scholes, so Pogba had surgery on his foot for the fun of it or as a means of not playing for United? Really?
Pogba leaving would expose British punditry for what it is. https://www.allaboutunited.co.uk/paul-pogba-british-punditry/ The attitude and beliefs of a sector of the pundits and reporters in England has long been exposed. And it will be very interesting indeed to see who their next whipping boy will be once Pogba leaves the league. The point also that we're yet to hear a single peep from them or anyone else when it comes to Maguire's price and the fact that he's the most expensive defender in the game, speaks volume. Particularly when Pogba's fee was the major and non stop talking point about him for 2yrs straight.
The United board will have to shoulder the blame when Pogba leaves. https://www.espn.com/soccer/manches...d-old-trafford-chiefs-must-shoulder-the-blame Absolutely no argument there. Woodward and co have completely mismanaged Pogba's return, simply in terms of properly following up with solid moves to build a team capable of challenging for the highest honors. Guess he was somehow expected to drag a mediocre/dysfunctional bunch to the top. Whether it's with Juve (the more likely destination for him now) or Real, there is no doubt we'll see Pogba flourish again and at his best. We'll see it before that when he'll be playing with France in the Euros this summer. We can only hope that it will be lesson learned for the next big talent we happen to bring to the club...
It’s ridiculous to say we can’t get a big talent. We’re still a top 10 most desirable club in the world. The problem is that when we go for a talent that another one of those top 10 clubs are in for, they’re there because they’re currently still a powerhouse. We’re there because of our history and our money. So when a player is choosing between us and Madrid, Barca, PSG, Pool, etc the only real pull we have is high wages (which is what we’re trying to get away from). That and if the player grew up a United fan, but that only goes so far.
