Pogba is not going anywhere in January - Ole https://www.skysports.com/football/...-real-madrid-man-utd-midfielder-going-nowhere Really wasn't expected there was any real chance of Pogs leaving in January. Those comments from Ole are also coming on the back of rumors that United will start negotiations with Pogba/Raiola in an attempt to tie him down with a new contract.
Good thing he didn’t play today. He kills us out there. We clearly have plenty of creativity without him ya know, because of Rashford.
Not hard to see in the least. Really frustrating that Ole can't or won't either, especially when Pogba the best creating hub we have on the team. And as such, he absolutely should play him in a more forward role when he can have a greater impact and influence on our attack.
Seems he was rushed back and is now injured again. Can we still blame that on Woodward and the Glazers?
If that's true then he's basically said "I'm leaving". He offered a number that was meant to be comically high. He honestly deserves to be on a way better team. His prime is being absolutely wasted at Manchester United.
@Ashur Pete also said Pogba is the problem child at united and and the players around him are good.. Well he is just trying divert heat from Ole..
You will get the ‘real’ Pogba back when Ibra returns in the next month or so .. ‘unfinished business’ as he calls it ..
Pogba is not in France's squad for their upcoming qualifiers, probably indicating that his injury is a bit more serious than previously indicated. Eventhough he'd be needed vs Newcastle, would rather Ole go in another direction, with an eye towards a return for the Pool game in 3wks.
Ibra would never work in this team. Yeah hes a decent finisher but he doesn’t fit our style and more importantly, he would never be ok with being on the bench. So we’d be forced to start him. No thanks.
You’d simply build around him for one season. .. He’s everything you are missing - on and off the pitch
This is exactly the opposite of what we should do. We aren’t winning anything this year, that’s clear. We’re trying to build a certain style of play so why would be postpone that another year to build around Ibra who’s only here for half a season? It makes literally zero sense.
Showing patience was fine back in the day ( when Fergie was struggling) but times have changed.. the way things are going I don’t see OGS being around for the Jan window
That’s part of our problem. We’re not close enough to being good that any manager in the world could fix it in single season with only one transfer window. I’m not saying Ole should be give 5 years (or even that he’s the right guy for that matter) but we have to trust a guy And give him some time. Ole needs at least 3 windows to bring in new players and over a single season to show signs of improvement. The caveat to that is that if you think you can get Poch this next summer you do it. He should’ve been the choice in the first place.
…. In the Premier League, Paul Pogba has created the same amount of chances (13) as Scott McTominay (6), Jesse Lingard (4), Fred (3) and Matić (0) combined.Minutes played:1363 – McTominay, Lingard, Fred and Matić450 – Pogba pic.twitter.com/bOP86J2IhD— UtdArena (@UtdArena) October 9, 2019
United miss Pogba. Badly. https://thebusbybabe.sbnation.com/2...ly-miss-paul-pogba-pereira-mctominay-analysis His recent absence made it once again all to clear. And we can only hope that the club realizes what they'll have to do to try to replace if and when he leaves as expected next summer. If McTominay does confirm his position as a first XI guy, that is still at least 2 starting CMs we'll need to get then (on top of the other spots that need filling). And at the rate we are spending right now, it looks like we'll keep remaining behind in terms of building a competitive squad. It could be argued that next summer should have provided the final touches in that aspect: highly unlikely now when we consider all the needs on the table. On top of that, if Brexit FC is going to be our transfer business model, it will take even longer since we're liable to spend more of players (especially Prem proven ones).
