    The US really impressed
    Adu
    Rogers
    Altidore

    All looked really good.

If you watched the rest of the tourney Seitz the US goalie was actually really good. At times he was one of thier best players. But against Austria he totally looked out of it.

I'd add Sal Zizzo to that list for the first 3 games (he was a big disappointment vs Uruguay and Austria). I think they were a better team than Austria, they just didn't play well that day. I was pretty impressed with how they moved the ball out of the back along the ground and through midfield instead of playing the long ball constantly. It was good to see them running at defenders too. There is a lot of skill on that team. It's very cool that in the last 2 U20 WCs the US has beaten Argentina, Brasil, and Uruguay. We're no longer the whipping boys of the Americas.

Rongen is not the best coach, Bradley is better. He did a very good job of picking the team and finding a formation that made them dangerous but his in the game tactics were not so good. He had some subs that could have changed the game (especially during the Austria game) but did not sub them in or waited to long.

Plus Sztela have two good games against SKorea and Poland but faded while the tourney went on. He was dreadful against Austria. I think he a good player and should leave the Crew for Scotland or Italy where he has interest from

The only player that will be better then Landon will be Adu

Does anyone else keep getting a database error message loading up when they try and get onto BS?

It's been happening quite a lot with me recently, its not the busy signal thingy the page doesn't load at all.

Yup there are database errors at the moment due to server usage. When BigSoccer moves over to the new servers, and the new site, everything will be OK. I've even had the errors.

Within the next couple of weeks I believe. We mods will get it tomorrow to test for bugs and so on, and if that's successful it will be within the next few weeks you guys get upgraded. There's more about it in the Customer Service forum.

EDIT: I will find out now.

Spread rep blah blah blah xc...

I just don't see why the site needs updating. The fact it coincides with the Beckham debut just says it all. What pisses me off more is they have removed the "who's online" feature at the bottom, so now I have to come in a thread and look at the "online now" light to find out whos on and who isn't! It is rather annoying!!

Ya people in the customer service section are making fun of the fact that its coming at the time Beckham is here.

I asked if it was going to come with a new Becks look

I guess the good thing is it will get rid of all the Data base errors that I have been getting. It really bugs me.

What I dont Understand is it 2 separate sites??

Nah, they are basically just overwriting the current format so when it's done, you'll automatically log onto the new site as opposed to the current format.

I just got back from the 90 Minutes for Mandela match, aka as a World XI vs African XI match.
The match finished 3-3 and was good fun.
The best was watching players like Gullit, Lua Lua, Lucas Radebe, Abedi Pele, George Weah, Ali Daei and Eto'o among others playing. Oh, and did I mention THE Pele?!

I can't remember the exact lineups, but there were also quite a few South African players that most people won't know about. But there was some real big names. It was great to watch Pele kick a ball. Hossam Hassan scored two goals and Gullit scored. The end score was 3-3.

Now for Tottenham vs Orlando Pirates on Tuesday...

I hate the way this site changes things that don't need to be changed. The Rep change pisses me off, i thought the idea of more respected posters having more pos/neg rep power was good.
