This game will give the Madrid board justification for talking about us nonstop. They should just rename their OTT to "Why Morata is better than Lukaku".
Wouldn't surprise me if we see Jose going with a different team for this one. Not only to experiment and try different things and combos, but also not to tip his hand to Zidane, with the Supercup matchup coming later in mind.
Think he has understandably been trying all four CBs in different combinations to get them used to each other. For this game think he will pick his first choice CB pairing to start as playing a warm-up game benefits the defenders. As Ashur says suspect he will hold something back in attack - expect Lukaku may still play as he needs minutes with his new team mates, but he may hold back Rash / Mikhi and give others a start rather than give Real first-choice defenders opportunity to know how to deal with them. Think he will have to start DDG as may be interpreted as sending the wrong signals.
I hope Martial gets at least an hour. He played well till the last time out when he only got 30 minutes. I'd like to see him get time in a system with a 10, playing as a forward.
Jose says Mitchell, Darmian, Tuanzebe and TFM will all start. DDG and Romero to play a half each. So it looks like it could be: -------------------------TFM Mitchell-------------------------------------Darmian ------------Tuanzebe------XXXXXX I can't imagine playing TFM and Tuanzebe together at CB flanked by another kid.
Fully expected Jose to keep it close to the chest, but damn... Guessing that AP and Martial will probaby get the start as well.
Jose won't give them a look at our starting 11 before the club championship or whatever the ******** the call it nowadays.

Here at Levi's. I'd say 8-1 United over Real supporters. Way too many Ronaldo shirts. It's as though no one else plays for the club.
United starting XI: Romero, Timmy, Bailly, Jones, Darmian, Carrick, Fellaini, AP, Lingard, Martial, Rashford Real XI: Navas, Carvajal, Varane, Nacho, Marcelo,Kroos, Modric, Isco, Bale, Benzema, Lucas Vasquez.
