VS Match thread time, let's keep this gravy train rolling against a team who's name doesn't lend itself to witty puns, song lyrics or jokes. Guess like Arsenal I save my best for the big teams. March 11, 9:30am on NBCSN in the USA March 12, 12:30am on Optus/streams/wombat in Aus We get PEA back, and after losing two defenders I suppose its time we wheel out the 2-5-3 formation I use to take the piss in Fifa. COYG!
I think Arsenal will play well here. I'd like to maybe see Welbeck get some time in this. He wasn't completely terrible against Milan and since he's Arsenal's only Europa league striker and the league is basically irrelevant, why not try and get him in better form.
That is important, and I saw a lot of people shit on him for that gazelle trip he did late in the match what people didn't mention was he ran himself ragged and thats why Meelan were never clean from the back.
3ft of snow a few days ago in southern VT so I'm afraid I'm gonna have to miss this one again. I hope we do better than last week when I did the same. And I hope Troy Deeney gets a nice kick in the cajones.
Mustafi scores, but really 1 nil up has nothing on the fact it should really be 3-1 to us. But we look good we are just unlucky to not have scored more.
Not bad considering it's a waft of Arsenal's B-team players. HM is looking strong and showing plenty of hustle, Ozil also better than average. Granted, this is how it should be vs Watford. Crowd has been polite but is rightly sparse. Hopefully that adds fuel to the fire under management.
Shit effort, clear penalty on Mikhi and its overlooked then the Watford prick goes to pick him up off the pitch making out as if he dived. Dirty twats.
66' and the game has become chippy. Arsenal survives early tough patch at start of the half to where they're now offering more pressure on offensive third. Crowd showing their appreciation. Elneny has been pretty fair for the day. Tight passing hasn't been perfect but he's showing more creativity and vision.
Welbeck for Iwobi. We definitely need a top LW. Continue the Dortmund trend and go buy Dembele (and hope he doesn't have a ton of recurring injuries).
75' and the game has regressed to kickball for a bit. Arsenal with what seems like 1,000 back passes today. 999 of which have been ill advised.
Brilliant poise from Pierre to settle the deflection and set up the Armenian. Nice to see those two clicking today. Now let's give Cech the clean sheet.
"Deeney Deeney what's the score?" is the chant ringing around. Their score is nil, which is also the amount of balls he has especially after missing the unmissable penalty.
