Its back to the future. In the Middle Ages & Early Modern period Europe had plenty of independent cities.

If Mel had had his way 60 years ago, there would be white and colored water fountains in Raleigh.
I'm very proud of the post I made in world rivalries after that match. Iceland's coach is a dentist. My post was something like, one of the world's great rivalries, England vs. modern dentistry.

You'd better bring that up once a year or so, because you're going to have trouble ever beating that one.

    So Cal
You know darn well that the Earth is only 6,000 years old. It's also flat!

Dr Wankler's colleague attests to that.

Like acai or quinoa, poor people used to eat avocado on bread before millennials discovered it ;)

That's not avocado toast, that avocado on toast.

And avocado doesn't belong on toast. It belongs on veggie dogs with mayo.

Not if you're Canadian. It's well known what they put on everything. :coffee:

By the by....how does one tell the difference between a veggie dog, veggie burger, or veggie prime rib?

It's the "I'm taking my toys and going home" approach to soccer when we should have the "I'm taking YOUR toys and going home" approach.
