I think mexican teams are putting their money in the wrong places.
If they want to do well in the Libertadores they shoud do like Inter and the Brasilians do:

    BUY SOME PARAGUAYAN REFEREES!!!!!!

Re: I can't stand Mexican comentaristas!!

Actually I talk to people who know soccer. Its just like you in ths response actually telling me that Mexican league is the third best? Really? I dont think that is right. I know of only one team that plays fairly good, Chivas, and that is that. The rest are mediocre, not only that but ask anyone from outside Mexico and they will tell you how boring your liga es. Anywhoo.... I think you just proved my point. Comentaristas in huge international stations are biased, I cannot imagine why people in a more local situation would be less biased, if any they should be even more just because of their audience. Although in all fairness it happens in every country.

It's gonna be interesting to see in today's Libertad-Tigres game if these Mexican jackasses mantain the same arrogant attitude.

Re: I can't stand Mexican comentaristas!!

Tired of the comentaristas, heres an obvious and quick solution, hit the mute button. Problem fixed. Now if you still want to hear the game just search a radio station or online radio that is broadcasting the game aswell. I used to do this alot when games where aired on Univision. I'd mute the tv and put on Radio Unica.

and tigres is one of the shyttiest teams in the mexican league.

I would love to see pachuca vs any south amrican team

but let the mexico bashing continue:rolleyes:

It was funny how after the penalties that dumb ass of Jacobo didn't said another word... It was nice not to hear his voice for awhile.

Re: I can't stand Mexican comentaristas!!

Just hit the SAP button people... I'd rather watch it in English than mute it...

Either way, you can't just blame it on the Mexican comentaristas. How about our friend Niembro and his pet dog closs? Don't they drool over anything that is related to either Boca or River? I'd say that I hate them more than the Mexican comentaristas.

Either way, my view of the Mexican guys has changed a little. A few months ago they wouldn't even do a background check on the opposing team... in that Tigres vs Libertad game, for example, they had a little background history on Libertad and I thought that was pretty nice. They also seemed to have a little more knowledge about the opposing players (although the fact that some of them had already played in Mexico no doubt helped their cause....). At least they are making an effort.

Whoever said the guys from ESPN are good deserves a painful death. The only decent channel in this respect is GolTV, and sadly they won't have the chance to broadcast Libertadores games until 2009... that's when the contract between CONMEBOL and Fox expires.

So a game with a full stadium is the same as a game with an empty stadium?
The people singing in the stadium is also part of the game.

Damn, I thought it was "Harkereavá" :D

I'm sure you meant to say "Castellano"? "Castillian", perhaps?

Obviously you have no room to talk.

You Mexicans are missing the point.

Those commentators are supposedly Professionals, you would at least expect them to know how to speak properly.

I hate to break it to you guys but Mexicans are the largest Spanish language television demographic in these parts, so if you're shocked to see programming that caters to Mexicans, you're being naive. The majority tends to get its way in life.
