DC United fan since the olden days, interest has waned a little (having kids playing sports makes it harder too) and been watching more la Luca and premier league but with the new stadium and them playing a game in Annapolis I’m back into it. Or trying to be anyway.

So looking at the roster I’m thinking 4-2-3-1?

    F: Mattocks, Mullins or Miranda
AMs: starters - Asad, Acosta & Arriola or maybe Steiber on left
CDMs: hopefully Canouse and Harkes with Jeffrey a sub
    LB: Kemp or Fisher?
CBS: Brillant and Birnbaum with Opare backup
RB: Robinson and is this where DeLeon plays or is he still a mid?
GK: 3 decent keepers but you gotta start Ousted right?

Odoi-Atsem a outside back or CB?

What is Durkins position? I know they say D/M but what does that mean? Inside? Outside? They just don’t have a place for him yet? What about Segura and Moreno? They DMs, AMs? Box-to-box? Does anyone know?

Seems like this team could roll 2 deep pretty decently, not sure how much they need it and but they got a decent mix and a lot of young players.

I only saw a little of the game against the rowdies so hopefully someone saw more than I did and can answer some of this.

    Durkin - DM/CB
    Segura - CM, W, AM
    Moreno - DM, CM
Odoi-Atsem is a wide back, and DeLeon is the projected starter at right back, probably Fisher on the left until Kemp is healthy enough to play in games.
They haven't played the Rowdies, only Malmo from Sweden and Philly.

Here's to hoping you bring good luck with you!
