It's Sevilla. The team currently ranked #6 in Europe (& the world). Even playing benchers they're quite formidable.
1st half over 1-0 Sevilla...both teams playing pretty sharp honestly. One or two passes Emo will want back, but I think overall he's been quite solid. Had a nice run and move in the box on his shot.
That was a solid half. He looks very comfortable and confident. A few errant balls but mostly very clean. A couple long diagonal balls that have found their target. He has covered a lot of ground defensively and been sound positionally. I have always thought he and Cook would compliment each other well and this half doesnt change that. He has done more than enough in this half to continue to get looks.

Emo competition related... Surman is playing in the middle of the back three. No idea if they are considering this or just filling out the squad for thid preseason friendly. For what it is worth, he has looked solid back there. Ibe just leveled and Surman, Arter, and Gosling not involved.
Second half seemed like a completely different game. It started at a faster pace and ended very chippy. Based on the two halves, I dont see any real basis for a pecking order in midfield, but know Cook is going to play.
