    Popular man.

RB is trying to force him to sign a new contract. I don't think that's a good idea. I wouldn't mind seeing him at Leicester. They will definitely finish top 4 this year.

According to The Athletic, Everton have been closely tracking Red Bull Salzburg attacker Hwang Hee-chan, but won’t make a bid for his services this month.

    What’s the word, then?

Well, The Athletic report that Brighton and Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers are two Premier League clubs especially keen to bring the 23-year-old to England.

The report says that the Seagulls have held talks with the South Korean’s representatives and that Wolves want to get a deal done this month, but that the Austrian outfit aren’t keen to lose a third key player during the January transfer window having already seen Takumi Minamino and Erling Haaland join Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund respectively.

It's funny that Salzburg sold Minamino and Haaland quite easily but now they're not willing to sell Hwang (even though Hwang would bring much more money than Minamino for example).
Is it because Haaland had a release clause relatively low and Minamino was at the end of his contract?

I wouldn't mind if he stayed a little longer there, Salzburg uses very well his potential and he plays European cup. So why not...

Agree, would not be that dissapointed. Been a pleasure watching him lately. Although Minamino and Haaland is gonna be missed.

HHC could push for a move by handing in a transfer request, but he's probably not going to do that.

    SCOUT REPORT:

RB Salzburg’s Hwang Hee-Chan is reportedly on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ transfer radar.

Sky Sports reported just before the transfer window opened that Wolves are interested in the South Korean, who is valued at £23m by his current employers.

But is this a player Wolves need at the moment and, if so, what could he potentially bring to their squad?

    Let’s find out…

    Who is he?

Hwang is a 23-year-old forward who’s currently plying his trade for RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.

He has been a revelation in the ongoing 2019/20 campaign but his journey was far rockier than it might seem at first. Born in Gangwon, he started perfecting his craft at Pohang Steelers during the early stages of his career.

After years of sharpening his skill back home, he was scooped up by RB Salzburg.

But he wasn’t really an instant hit, spending some time on loans away from the club until he finally settled in their team. Now he is reaping the rewards.

With Wolves on the prowl for a new forward, Hwang could be the missing link in Nuno’s forward line or could simply add another layer of depth and quality to the team.

Came on at HT. Scored 2, but they lost 3-2.
They have lost momentum after Erling and Mina.
