    So Dabbur and Glubrandsen aren't starters? :whistling::whistling: If anything they rested starters like Walke and Berisha against St. Polten for Europa League.

    Well, it was clear from the fact that he only played 20 mins last weekend, then being 'rested' again.

    Could be another injury.

    Well if he's not even on the bench, it surely means he's injured. No big deal.

    Well, this season, Salzburg has 3 different tournaments, so it was clear that he'd not start every game. What makes a Gulbrandsen a starter and Hwang not? Gulbrandsen may have started more league games, but it's not a reason to say that Hwang is not a starter as well, especially since he was used in the important games (UCL and UEL qualification games) more often.

    To be clear, he's played every game so far, minus the last two:

    11.07.17, 19.07.17, 22.07.17, 26.07.17, 29.07.17, 02.08.17, 05.08.17, 12.08.17, 17.08.17, 20.08.17, 24.08.17, 27.08.17

    green = started
    black = played as a sub
    red = not in the squad

    For me, it looks like he's sharing the starting place with the other 2 strikers, thus there is no fixed starting lineup for Salzburg as we've discussed already. It has been last season as well.

    No one said anything about him getting dropped. Calm down. My point is that he's not being rested for a certain match.

    Don't you understand german (if my memory serves me correctly) ? I haven't spoken German for 6 years can you translate this please :

    "Angeschlagen reist Hee-Chan Hwang zu den WM-Qualifikationsspielen Südkoreas gegen Iran und Usbekistan. In Absprache mit dem Club sollen Einsätze dort nicht um jeden Preis erfolgen."

    Although it's not written like that, it pretty much means that Salzburg asked to not play him in both games.

    edit: He seems to have gotten a minor injury, but it doesn't sound too serious. They just want him back not injured further I think.

    Sh*t, I hoped it was Korea which asked that to Salzburg not the contrary (in hindsight I know it was a vain and stupid wish...)

    "In Absprache" could mean both. Literally it means "in consulation with". I think the KFA called them to ask how his situation is and they told him that he's not 100% fit or something like that.

    "황희찬은 스스로 대표팀 경기 때문에 컨디션 관리 차원으로 결장했다. 더 악화되기 전에 잘츠부르크 구단에서 배려해줬다. 현재 황희찬의 부상은 심한 것이 아니다."

    STY: "Hwang had asked to get rested because he didnt feel fit. His injury is not serious.
