started cup, got a PK and scored and then taken off at HT as they were up 3-0 and won something like 7-0.

having mixed feelings but overall staying at salzburg no longer seems like a healthy situation for hwang heechan. the club as it stands isnt looking to win anything and it only serves to develop young players for future sales to leipzig and other clubs. focusing on development can be good but it appears hwang already made his mark at senior level and could be ready to challenge himself at a more professional league than the austrian first division. one downside to moving is at 90% of the clubs hed go to they would force him to play out wide which would essentially end his chances of developing into a proper cf until perhaps later in his career i also fee like salzburg should look to sell hwang heechan while the stock is high. he may have the years left on the contract but it doesnt make a lot of sense to hold onto him when theyve got other young attackers to develop. you either continue to feed him playing time at the expense of others or his value depreciates. unless the organization sees a place for hwang heechan in leipzig few years down the road (before his contract expiry) they really arent losing anything by selling him now. the reported fee for hamburg move was 8m euros. even if they get half that itd be massive profit since theyve got him for close to nothing. find hwang a new home and perhaps poach another young korean player to start a new project
You forget that Red Bull does not need money. They hold all the cards and can afford for HHC to lose value. Just as they made acclimatization from Liefering slow too. They will still win the league without HHC and money earned from Salzburg can't go to Leipzig. They'll at least wait til CL qualifiers are sorted and probably even through first half and see how group stages of whatever completion they're in is sorted.
one less comp for Hwang HC. good news for him.. i guess he will have his opportunities this season. OFFICIAL: Dimitri #Oberlin signs loan agreement with @FC_Basel. We wish the 19 year-old ALL THE BEST IN SWITZERLAND! #RBS #Transfer #BULLE12 pic.twitter.com/pztvhYrN0C— FC Red Bull Salzburg (@RedBullSalzburg) July 20, 2017
he would have had his opportunities no matter if Oberlin stayed or not. It's Gulbrandsen who can relieve now.
true.. anyways, less comp & he will have more opportunities to impress (unless Berisha just takes over.. of which, it is a good possibility too).
Posting out of curiosity (not HHC related): Not best way to boost market value but it seems to be working 888138003931156480 is not a valid tweet id
I doubt that. All the other starters are playing apart from Lainer. Oberlin may be loaned out, but the new coach seems to have decided to keep Dabbur, unlike Oscar Garcia, who was happy to offload him. It's too early to say, but seems like Hwang might have to fight for his spot which he took for granted under Garcia.
Scores! Whoops, not him, I blame the sh*t stream. EDIT: Good runs from him this game, again, his final touches let him down, but overall a solid performance.
Honestly it's annoying that their numbers are 18 and 19, similar height, black hair... Hwang should bleach his hair or something
their whole team looks alike. with grainy enough stream i see hwang heechan playing centreback. sometimes hes playing for the other team
