About ethnic hungarians: There are many hungarians played for romania. In the 20's and 30's it was quite often, that there was only 1(!) romanian in the squad, and the other was hungarian, or german from Transsylvania!!!!! Ethnic hungarians nowadays(not complete, just a few): Slovakia: Németh Szilárd, Varga Stanislav, I don't know, who likes ice-hockey, just a few example from NHL: Pálffy Zigmund, Nagy Ladislav, Országh, Szekeras, Piros, Mezei, Gaborík etc. Czech Rep: Újfalusi Tomás, C(s)eh Petr, Baros Milán. (many hungarians deported to western czechia between 1945-47) they lost their wealth, and in many cases their life ... Slovenia: The Ceh brothers, Kék Matjaz, Romania: Bölöni, Lacatus, Bálint, Selymes, (only recently) there were dozens of hungarian players There were also ethnic-hungarians in spain (Puskás, Kubala-in czehoslovakia also) in France Újlaky, Korányi, in the 40's-50's in Chile: Caszely Károly(Carlos) he was the golascorer recorder for Chile until Salas and Zamorano. in Sweden: Limpár András(anders) in the USA: Vermes Peter and others inthe Soviet Union, Canada and Australia as well Cheers: Peti
