welp, now on to the finish of NHL playoffs, and then the rest of the MLB season, tho my team doesn't look to do much more than middle of the pack this season
To give everybody a bit of perspective about how good, and how unlucky, Spurs were this season. At 86 points and +60 goal difference, Since the founding of the EPL Spurs would have won the title on 9 other occasions (most in the 1990s) The goal difference was not better than 4 other teams (each a different season) Spurs would have lost out on the title in 13/14 by 5 goals (Closer than 2011/2012 Man City v. Man U) And Chelsea scored more points than only 1 other occasion, also a Chelsea team. Kane would also have been top scorer in 17 of the 25 seasons (would have beat Drogba in 2009/2010 due fewer games played). Indications are that if Spurs add 4 points to this tally, the chances are very high that they will the title.
Also, just wanted to give a shout out to @Count Chocula , who fearlessly started most game threads throughout the season and gave us PBP on most games. Many times I relied on his posts to keep up with the game while at work. He was here more than anyone else. Proper Yid. If you agree, give him a rep. BS doesn't get the traffic it used to, but in our best season in ages, that shows those of us here are true fans. This is still the first place I check for fan views. Cheers to all of you.
