Recent article by Record, one of Mexicos most reliable sources, claims that Hugo Sanchez could soon join Chivas USA as a Directive.. We should get more info in the following days. With Interliga around the corner this would be a great for marketing the club.. .

Dude! That's because he doesn't take orders to begin with... :D :D

Can you imagine Hugo and Vergara trying to decide whose idea is better?? Now that's scary shlt man! There'd be stuff flying all over the room and everybody would have to duck from the phones, pens, computers and then the ChivaGirls would have to come in and clean up.............wait a minute......that'd be worth ducking....

:D I know. I can almost see him:

    Bradley-OK. Hugo..Tu...Ir...Por...Pelota....Muchacho..Rapido...Rapido...Decir...A....Guzano...Bueno...Bueno...

    Bradley--Hugo...Me...Pones Atencion...Muchacho? Hugo?

Bradley--Hello...Hugo...to Earth...Bring me the soccer balls...Hugo....I talk to Antonio Cue....

Bradley--come back here! Where are you going?!

    ===

If anything does happen, I am guessing is his way to come in to CD Guadalajara. I know last time he and Vergara had a tete-a-tete it didn't go anywhere....and maybe it did.

Hugo said in an article recently that he's gotten an offer to coach in the MLS for 1 year, but that if an offer from Europe arrived, he wouldnt hesitate to pull the trigger. I wonder which team he would go to?

That's BS. He was offered the job at a 2nd Division team here in Spain, Numancia or Valladolid I think (sorry, mind going blank), but he turned it down.

Please make sure that means a 1st division side.

There's the article, and here's an excerpt. He also talks about waiting for a call from Real Madrid too. So I think it's safe to say he wants a 1st division team.

"Posiblemente firmaré un año con ellos (un equipo que no especificó en la MLS), pero con una cláusula. Si me llaman de Europa me subo a un avión y me vengo sin dudarlo. También me han ofrecido ser el Director Técnico de la Selección Mexicana para después del Mundial de Alemania. No me voy a aburrir", declaró al diario deportivo.

Hugo did win a couple titles with Pumas. If he can work with Bradley this would be great for the team.

well he did play for Dallas Burn in 1996, so he knows a little about how MLS works as a league. However that was 10 years ago, so I doubt he knows all that much about the current pool of MLS players.

I think that if Bob Bradley fails with Chivas USA, Hugo should step in. At least that is my opinion. I know he is trying to get a job in Spain, but he burned a lot of bridges in Mexico and Chivas USA should be an easy decision for him. I dont know what is his relationship with VErgara "el jefe" by the way.
