I personally organized ze Germans appearance so that there could be peace amongst all, so I should be fan of the year, but deep down, in my heart of hearts, I don't want it.
You people with your false humility. I know each and every one of you claiming you don't want Crew FOTY, secretely have a fully staffed campaign headquarters in your basements.
I'm not running to win, but merely try and influence the two main candidates with my extremist views. That and I want to bring back the Gold (fan) standard!
If there was anyone at this stage of the season who I would "endorse" for FOTY, it would be one of two people.... #1) Hard Hat Mike : He has been the rally point of many of the tailgates at home, he has gone on the road trips to support the Black and Gold. He has been out in front of the supporters section leading the chants from time to time. He has been one of the "police" when it has come to the wrong things thrown onto the field (which nowadays is anything at all, including streamers). #2) Upper Deck Lady a.k.a. Janet H : She was the one person that most of us in the Crew family of fans looked to for any news regarding the condition of the late Jim Nelson. She spent countless hours at his side in the hospital right up to the end. Which I know took a heavy emotional toll on her. Constantly being with his family and always talking to him about the Crew or any other subject that would come up. Her devotion to a friend in need, pales in comparision to anything we have done as a group.... If any of you know of anyone more deserving than either of these two, speak now or forever hold your opinion signed, H1CF 2007 CC FOTY
He's a great American who I proudly voted for in the primaries and I definitely approve him winning Crew fan of the Year.
