    half time Spurs up 3-0

Kane with a brace so far, Davies with the other

Huddersfield aren't a bad team, they pass pretty well, had a few dangerous attacks, but I think they are a bit naïve in regards to defending Spurs and Kane in particular. they clearly didn't realize how good Kane is if he's given a yard of space. be interesting to see if they tighten up their backline at the expense of their attack in the 2nd half, or if they continue as is, with the risk of going down 5 or 6

Kane also had a goal ruled offside (it was, just) and had a sequence where the HUddersfield keeper was at sea but Kane probly held it too long when there were 2 or 3 Spurs players in the box with an open goal. also Alli missed a fairly good chance as well

Turned on about 50th min. The amount of possession is embarrassing.

Sissoko makes it 4-0 in injury time

After his earlier chance I nearly posted Sissoko is the new Zokora. Then he scores. Bit lucky though.

I don't care that it was deflected in. I'm still counting that as a Sissoko goal.

How many players can barely scramble it across the line, off a defender? World class I tell you.

Spurs do have another player who can do it, I think. Kade...no, Karr...no, Kone...no, what's his name, again?

And just saw the highlights. Spurs looked decisive, though Huddersfield did have some chances.

How was Dele? A couple of clips showed him looking like he had more enjoyment, and almost a goal.

he got roughed up much of the first half. then he got booked for a dive (rightly) in the 2nd

his biggest problem is he is trying to do too much and not just letting the game come to him

I'm not gonna lie ... I'm a little disappointed to be coming in here and not seeing that gif with Harry's screaming face coming twisting out of a hurricane.

More & more convinced Davies + whatever £50 pounds buys is worth more than Rose with one eye on his bank account.

Not sure if you are serious, but we may not have even played Huddersfield since the 70s.

I was thinking that Spurs might have lost to Huddersfield in an FA Cup match in the 1980s...once...

Watched the game from a hotel room in Calgary Alberta at 5:30 am on an SD TV. Now I know how the other half lives...I think our last win in Huddersfield was so long ago that they were still playing at the Leeds Road Stadium! Now that was a proppa' ground...

Huddersfield tactics played right into our hands, trying to press us and leaving huge gaps for us to counter. Starting to look like the side that swept aside teams like Huddersfield last year.

Dele must think he is going to la Liga because all he is doing now is holding on to the ball too long, falling down and looking forlornly at the refs for non-existent free kicks.
