Hamburg signed young talented forward from Bursaspor. Batuhan Altuntas. <> He is the kid of the former Galatasaray famous player Yusuf Altuntas (nick; Rambo) . Scout wise, I say its a good sign for upcoming years. ps: He didn't sign a new contract(he plays in their youth team) at the begin of the season for Senior squad. They PK him for a full season. After the season is over, he become free it seems(fifa rule). Hamburg will gonna pay his club about youth $. 400.000 $ Regards,
I don't know if I've ever seen a coach excited so much and for so long as Labbadia was. That was amazing drama.
Great job by the HSV product design and marketing team on this new t-shirt with Hertha's choreo on it: http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/hsv/verkauft-t-shirt-mit-hertha-plakat-42153140.bild.html
HSV has a history in messing things up: (for all non-German speakers: The correct upper word is "Danke" (Thank you), but the letter "N" got turned by 90°)
Good game today. Everything hinged on the red card though. Very worried about our defense. Too many through balls through our defense.
The signing of Sekou Sanogo from BSC Young Boys was on the verge of completion, but ultimately collapsed due to a late fax. A medical was even passed earlier in the day, with both clubs having reached an agreement. However an issue with the machine caused the signed contract to be sent 4 minutes after the transfer deadline time. Not the first scenario that HSV had last minute glitches like this. Back in 2011, Choupo-Moting was set for a move to FC Köln. His father and consultants faxed the contract with 11 minutes remaining till the deadline. But only the first page was ever received. http://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/hsv/die-email-esel-aus-der-schweiz-44394404.bild.html
My daughter has moved to Hamburg. I would like to start following Hamburg SV. Is there anyone out there who can teach me about the club?
Great club that has been underperforming for a while now. They've had management issues that have contributed greatly to that fact, which you can read about by skimming through this thread. Hamburg is a beautiful city, though, and HSV are a legendary club in Germany. They are definitely a good club to get behind.
Thanks! I tried looking at the Bundesliga website, and found it disappointing. I was looking for things like starting line-ups, game ratings, match summaries, and what I found was more diffuse, and scripted to fluff up the top teams and players. Is there a better resource?
You might find Bundesliga Fanatic to be more useful: http://bundesligafanatic.com Also, Abseits ("Offsides" in German) has a good guide to all of German soccer. It's no longer maintained but it's still a pretty good reference: http://www.abseits-soccer.com
Ah, I found my thread Will posts some updates in the near future. Unfortunately it seems that @HSV-Jung isn't here anymore.. Maybe other HSV Fans still here?
