I received a link to an interesting NY Times article about the difficult road to recovery that Stuart Holden is traversing. Turns out the article is a reprint from the first issue of Howler Magazine, a high end hybrid of graphics design meets soccer magazine. I hadn't heard of this publication, and while there are a couple of posts about it in forums around BigSoccer, I thought it should be listed here in the Biz & Media section. There is only a print version, but if you go to http://howlermagazine.com/, you can see a video of "the marketing department" flipping through all the pages of the first issue... funny and somewhat effective. A second issue is expected in Dec-2012.
