Abu Dhabi Sports commentators are praising Donovan, saying it's great how he could choose to be in sunny California but instead has chosen to go to Merseyside, etc.

Donovan works it to Osman, who then plays a 1-2 with Saha and fires wide.

 

34' wonderful combination Donovan coming inside first time pass to Saha to Osman who shoots just wide. Donovan open in front of goal on the criss cross as he continued his run.

 

Watching any Bolton game is a chore. I'm only doing it for Landon. But Everton itself is a team that is much more in need of a central ball distributor than any AM or SS. Not the ideal fit for Cakes, but he does look much more possessed than the other guys.

To be frank, often, games between mid-table and lower teams in the EPL are ugly affairs.

No doubt. At least big Sam's Bolton won occasionally. Coyle and his fake choppers get a hell of a pass for his bad football and even worse team record.

 

Tough loss for Everton with Jagielka going out. He's a rock for them.
