NT career? Sorry but he spent 2 years goaless there. He will never be selected, France are world champions with better players Griezmann Mbappe ^^ ok maybe he can play for Giroud who nobody care anymore lol. Keep praising Benzema, because this season we are DEAD and next season if we go in with the same attack.... imagine Vini-Benz-Lucas.... WE ARE DEAD AGAIN! Vini or Hazard-Icardi or Jovic-Mbappe this could compete with Barca.
So we're gonna pretend that Benzema didn't scored a decisive goal against Ukraine to help France qualify to WC 2014? Never mind that Benzema was one of the best players in tournament (arguably top 10). France are world champions because their squad was ridiculously stacked, most people had them as the biggest favorites to win WC 2018 and should've won Euro 2016. Benzema never had such circumstances as France. The season isn't dead. Real Madrid have not mathematically secured a Champions League spot for next season. And we've seen on how badly Real Madrid have been against relegation/midtable fodders. Without Benzema's goals, Real Madrid would be finish outside top 6 and the Frenchman is the only player with double-digits in LaLiga...

Benzema can only carry so much of the scoring load on his own 😳 pic.twitter.com/6GShToVoh3— B/R Football (@brfootball) April 25, 2019 Benzema is the first player ever in Real Madrid’s 117 year history to score 8 goals in a row without anyone else scoring. ‼️‼️‼️‼️HISTÓRICO ‼️‼️‼️‼️KARIM @Benzema ES EL PRIMER JUGADOR EN LOS 117 AÑOS DE HISTORIA DEL @realmadrid QUE MARCA OCHO GOLES SEGUIDOS DEL CLUB SIN QUE ANOTE NINGÚN OTRO COMPAÑERO. pic.twitter.com/6U9GKlFmQa— MisterChip (Alexis) (@2010MisterChip) April 21, 2019

Well-said. These posts were published after Real Madrid lost 0-1 against 20th place Rayo Vallecano without their best player in Raul de Tomas (who didn't played because Rayo couldn't pay €1m to Real Madrid, thus letting him play). 1122580468291993600 is not a valid tweet id 1122580861138944000 is not a valid tweet id 1122581338895409155 is not a valid tweet id
Oh shut up, if we didn't have Benz not like we would field Mariano , we would have another top striker.
Real Madrid didn't signed a top striker when Cristiano was sold last summer lol. I want Benzema take pain-killers & play against Real Sociedad next week. Of course, Real Madrid have secured a top 4 spot and there isn't much to play for. However, Benz can perhaps surpass his record of 32 goals from 11/12 season. If that happens, people will have a different perception of Benzema's RM career. Pippen & Rooney are respected for having their best seasons w/o MJ & Cristiano. Nobody will (wrongly) accuse them anymore for riding the coattails of others. Hopefully, it will be the same case for Benzema.
Benzema is our best player this season, no doubt. too bad it took selling CR to get him to this level. I'm glad he took this leadership role and hopefully he'll continue in this role next season. even more hopefully, we'll get a young striker to play with him, because Benzema is not getting younger...
France Football is having a vote for the best French player abroad. It's between Benzema, Griezmann, Kante, Lloris and Pogba. He's leading by a huge margin but it can't hurt to vote You can vote here
Team looked really good without Benzema today, probably better than any game he played in all season. Comfortable wins, goals came easily, questions need to be asked about what the player brings to the table.
Damn, Vallejo has a good feel for the game even after being out for so long and playing so little. Wonder if Zidane is even considering relying on him for next season? That's a hard decision to make but I just can't see how we can rely on him.
Real Madrid have already mathematically secured a top 4 spot and there's nothing to play for. Without Benzema's goals, the club would've challenging for a Europa League qualification next season. Let's not ignore that ZIdane fielded a starting XI where guys like Benzema, Ramos, Modric etc. were unavailable. Says more about you if you can't see what he brings to the table after 10 years.
Benz actually played in the “season defining games”, didn’t really work out that well, but, i’m sure someone will come and tell me , none of it was his fault , when it comes to some players and fans it varies, it’s the other players fault ior maybe not, quite a bit of that going on for lots of different reasons, I include myself in this as a fan.
Its more that the bar is set so low for Benzema there is no responsibility on his part or expectation by anyone else that he should or will carry out goal scoring activities but if he does so it is like a bonus to the fantastic link up play. And if a couple of goal keeping errors allow him to score a couple of empty net tap ins then its "GOAT status confirmed", "Mr. Champions League" "he's the true legend, Ronaldo's just riding coattails" But if the team gets knocked out of every competition in the span of seven days and Benz score zero goals during that time then its not his fault because "Ramos" "Bale" "Solari" "Lopetegui" "Perez" "Zidane" "James" "Kova" "Ronaldo"
I'm not really sure what you're talking about. He's the only reason why Real Madrid actually secured a Champions League qualification next season. Also, he was individually great against Ajax/Barca. If anything, Benzema is the very least of this team's problem. 1. Benzema has scored 30 goals this season and has been one of Europe's best players this season. Not his fault on how others forwards don't have LaLiga goals in double-digits, the midfield being routinely overrun, the defense struggling to keep a clean sheet etc. 2. You can find mistakes by almost every goal. At the end of the day, Benzema took full advantage of those goalscoring opportunites and it helped Real Madrid secure their 3rd consecutive CL-title. And I'm not sure if it's just your fantasy, but nobody has ever said such statements. 3. Benzema scored agianst Ajax and made a great assist for Lucas Vazquez against Barcelona in the 1st leg of Copa del Rey game despite receiving a poor cross from Vinicius. And like I said before, it's not his fault that Real Madrid were outplayed and conceded 8 goals against Ajax/Barca.
