Benzema has been on imperious form, it's a R9 version that everyone talked about when Real first signed him. I'm glad he shows it finally.

Please stay fit and keep rolling back the years.

Its far from R9 because he doesn't run at defenders because he's not fast enough. But his footballing IQ is off the charts, his touch is literally perfect, hes mature and confident. Making the team tick from the forward position is a testament to his ability. I pray he doesn't get injured, because it takes him a loooong time to get to this form from injury.

I mean the guy dominated the game, from the striker position, without registering a shot at goal. What a legend:laugh:

The old Benzema would have launched that into the stands. Nice seeing him oozing with confidence.

Maybe Cristiano was indeed holding the beast back.

What great joy he has become

Florentino loves him like a son.

It was funny hearing people complain about Zidane as if Benzema hasn't always been untouchable in Madrid.

Zidane was always like a older brother in their relationship. Both however are sonsof Florentino.

Maybe that was what really broke Cristiano; he was never truly one of Florentino's protected childten.

One more thing, I know I have been critical of Florentino for not bringing in Mbappe for Zidane.... however what a guy, eh?

Even if we bomb this season and he fails miserable again in summer transfers he's still my favorite.

I'm just more critical of those I hold in highest esteem.

I am extremely critical of Benz purely for not scoring enough goals, right now he is in a good place and making me eat my words, I am ecstatic about that, we need his goals, not only his Gareth as well if we are to win anything, the consistency is what I like , long may it continue, still wouldn’t put all my eggs in the Benz basket just yet but gotta give jack his jacket for the way he is playing right now , fantastic job, as long as he is scoring goals I have no problem with him, we all know he’s technical and can play , I always call him out when I think he is not doing his job , scoring, so now that he is I am here to compliment the great job he is doing so far, I really hope he can keep it up

He needed time to establish him self as leader in attack once CR left and once his self confidence was back he started being the old Benzy from lyon who knew how to shoot bonbazos.

The next 2-3 years will be bis best in the club especially now that he found a true partner in Vinicius

He's in great form and we're all enjoying it but let's not get ahead of ourselves. He still blows hot and cold and this season he had a goal/assist drought for 8 whole games. He's also 31 so things aren't exactly going to get better.

"Now, it's up to me to show I want to score, that I want to carry the team. And that's what I like. It's actually what I did at Lyon. I said to myself that I had to take that to Madrid, but even better. And that's the case now"

"When I came to Madrid, I had to change my way of playing. I put myself at the service of a guy who -- I say again -- scored 50 goals a season. And it was a pleasure to play with him. Now, I'm the leader of the attack. It's up to me to make the difference. I am very happy, because I can play my true football."

"Seeing myself in this position makes me very proud and motivates me to go further, which means catching the legend that is Raul"

I love what I am hearing from Big Benz
