If Yugoslavia was still a footballing entity (sort of like the UK, which is one state with 4 teams, but in reverse), and it qualified for the World Cup, what would be your 23 man squad? I will also allow for recruitment of dual nationals of players who could have played for one of the former Yugoslavia countries but chose other countries (Januzaj, Ibrahimovic, Krkic, etc)

GKs: Begovic (SER). Pletikosa (CRO), Handanovic (SLO)

Defenders: Lovren (CRO), Subotic (SER), Ivanovic (SER), Kolarov (SER), Nastasic (SER), Srna (CRO), Pranjic (CRO), Vidic (SER)

Midfielders: Rakitic (CRO), Modric (CRO), Pjanic (BOS), Markovic (SER), Matic (SER), Tadic (SER),

Forwards: Ibrahimovic(BOS/CRO), Dzeko (BOS), Mandzukic (CRO), Jovetic (MON), Ibisevic (BOS) Pandev (MAC)

Wanted at least 1 from every country.

    Serbia: 9
    Croatia: 7.5
    Bosnia and Herzegovina: 3.5
    Montenegro: 1
    Slovenia: 1
    Macedonia: 1

honorable mention: Olic, Peresic, Misimovic, Kovacic, Tosic, Kuzmanovic, Ljajic, Jokic, Januzaj, Spahic, Jelavic, Krhin, Savic
