I have been able to post new threads in forums and only recently, it states I have insufficient privileges to post new threads. I am also unable to participate in polls. Can someone help me? My teams' forum moderator directed me here for this problem.
Jake Folan and Thai - you should be fine now. I have no idea why the settings in your profiles would have changed, but they had. I am certain it was not spam prevention in your case. Let me know if you can post threads now.
Ismitje Seeing how this effected Thai and Jake, could you take a look at the rep thread in CS to see if those guys who can't rep also have an issue with their profile? Would be very interesting to see.
I would like to start a thread, or at least speak to someone with authority. I strongly feel that I was mistreated. I don't know who to talk to or where to say it. I'm afraid of posting in the same place I frequent out of fear of being instant banned and proverbially "shoved under the rug".
Sorry for the double post. I couldn't find an edit button on my previous comment. Just fyi that I have been contacted by a moderator and the issue is being dealt with.
You can only edit a post for 30 minutes (I think) and your posts were over 4 hours apart so that's why.
Not sure what happened, but I was able to create a thread for the first time and then as I went to post it in the Greece & Cyprus forums section, I received an error message. Now I can't create any threads again. Someone's kind assistance on this matter would be appreciated.
I am on a serious spiritual and emotional journey and I cannot wait for the privilege to found my own threads I already know what my first thread will be; a tight little piece for the Free For All, in which I will highlight the extent, no, degree, to which Steven Seagal's movies enjoy serious, often poignant, subtexts. On Dangerous Ground, for instance, is a meditation on the inherent moral duality of the bullet; that cylindrical bit of steel... Glimmer Man: Seagal contemplates the plight of the Good Samaritan in environs informed by disconnect and apathy; and the extent to which justice can ever truly transcend brute, masculine, force, or, "power plays".. Out For Justice: If violence is truly antithetical to joy and the womb...
@Ismitje Can you please check my profile settings as well? Sometimes I can vote in polls, sometimes I can't. Sometimes I see the button to create threads, sometimes I don't. I saw the button today, and actually wrote the first post, created a poll and all that, then when I went to hit the create thread button, it said that there was an error. I opened another tab on Chrome and came to the Crew forum, and the create thread button was gone again EDIT: I quit Chrome, then restarted it, and I was able to post my thread finally. Still frustrating to have buttons disappearing and reappearing though, and having to close my browser to get the forum to work right. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated
@Kyle Crew - there's nothing amiss in the Admin Panel. Let me know if it persists and I will dig deeper.
@Ismitje It's happening again At the bottom of the forum (in which I started a thread last week) it says: "(You have insufficient privileges to post here.)" EDIT: And 30 seconds later I see the start new thread button. Gggrrrrrr....
Also, on the Tapatalk app, on other forums I can start new threads, but when I try to on Big Soccer (on Tapatalk) I can't. On other forums, I have a pencil icon to start new threads, when viewing BS, it's a magnifying glass to search. I'm clearly not a spam bot (though my last few posts in this thread might indicate otherwise haha). I'm just frustrated that I can't post new threads in my own damn forum EDIT: And now 12 minutes later the start thread button is back and I posted my thread. WTF?!?!
You need to have a certain number of posts and have been registered for a period of time. If you try to start a new thread in the surveys and polls forum, those threads must be approved before they will show. You can also post a poll in any forum as well.
I had a member reach out to me asking the same thing. Is the amount of time quantified at all? 1 month? 2 weeks? He also said he wasn't able to 'rep' any posts. Is it because he is new?
Why cant I post a thread? I used to be able too, now I can't? I don't get the regulations. BS is pissing me off.
@Ismitje @dark knight A user has contacted me saying that he lost the ability to start threads or rep people. Any clues as to why? Thanks!
