Yeah its pretty damn bad, now i stay away from it when i go to Brasil.. its a shame really because its a very beautiful city, if you wanna go to Brasil go to places like Natal and Santos much more safer, Sao Paulo is not too bad during the day but at night is also pretty dangerous, you should rent the movie called "Bus 147", its a great movie and it gives you a very good idea on what Rio is all about.

I'm Not going to bet rockaias.. I didn't bet When it was the Final between our two clubs...I don't even knows who plays for Colo Colo or the Chivas. Chivas probably has the same squad since Mexicans are unwanted in Europe.

    Colo Colo 3 Putitas 0
    Putitas 3 Colo Colo 1

Chivas have a stronger team than before. I can't see them losing to Colo Colo in either match. Chivas will win both ida y vuelta against Colo Colo just like they did against Cienciano last year. I don't think they'll beat Colo Colo with the same aggregate (8-2) cuz that was ridiculous, but they will definitly win both games.

We will see. I'm beginning to think the Mexicans are a little bit too overconfident about the series. Better for us, I guess.

Re: How far will the Mexican clubs go in Libertadores ??

By Mexicans are you reffering to the clubs or the country? Which clubs? IF Guadalajara, then this is somewhat true. Yet are expected to play well.

Naw... as a fan i'm confident, and maybe you can argue i'm "overconfident" but it's just pride in my team. Chivas the club probably isn't too overconfident though, i'm sure westerhoff is studying colo colo right now and doing everything he can not to underestimate them. I'm confident in chivas because i know they won't underestimate colo colo.

Re: How far will the Mexican clubs go in Libertadores ??

Your comparison does not count. For it to count it has to average the number of years in the competition plus titles. So if it took Peru 40+ years to win anything (cienciano, copa sudamericana) then you have to see if the Mexican can beat that (and they will). Mexicans have participated in Copa Libertadores for 9 years. Peruvian teams how long? 40+ years and how many titles do they have?

You can't all of the sudden discount the 40+ years of history of south american competition because Peru won the sudamericana a few years ago and say "look we won something in 9 years, Mexico hasnt." Use your brain.

btw im not sure if Peru has won anything else so correct me if im wrong.
Im from Chile and I would like for Colo Colo to advance but there is very little chance they will. Chivas attack minded/fast style of futbol will be too much for them.

I knew Chilean Futbol has sucked for the last eight years but damn. Congrats to Chivas. eventhough I did not like to Football played by the mexicans. it's the goals that count. What wrong with Chilean football? Its been a while since i have seen anything good from them. I remember when Cobreloa was a power house.. how time flies!!

Catolica is obviously the strongest team out of Chile right now. that Sudamericana run they had was pretty good. I expect Catolica to go into the last 16 and surely the quarterfinals.

and it's weird cause it seems, at least to me, that the Chilean tournament has gotten better with quality and such over the last year and so.

I don't know maybe Caturro can give us an inside.

Chilean futbol used to be a powerhouse in South America. They have very good footballers playing outside the country. I remember when Brazil use to hate to go to Chile and play. Chile Along with Uruguay have fallen way below the standard that we know they are capable of doing.
