To be fair to the author, he does offer "force them all to be sterilized" as an alternative to killing them.
And people still wonder why religion still kills. These two have only been killing or been killed for a couple of thousand years though. It was just a joke......wasn't it. I've always found it ironical that people make a point of Jews killing Jesus. Maybe if they read Luke 24:26 they would have a clearer picture of the entire tapestry. Making generalizations about "Christianity" from the actions of a bunch of kids is not very significant.
Sounds like this, doesn't it? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...itic-chants-Tottenham-disgraced-football.html
it's a flawed perspective of the Biblical narrative. i don't know who first expressed that idea, but it's probably hundreds of years old. Jesus knew he had to die. he told his disciples as much, but they didn't want to accept it. we know why. it's certainly true that the Pharisees wanted Jesus dead, but that's really academic. he was going to be crucified one way or another. unless i misread your intent, your question is a swipe at Christianity in general or Catholicism in particular. what's that about?
It's kind of like making generalizations about "Islam" from the actions of a bunch of twisted punks calling themselves the Islamic State.
who is making generalizations about Islam? what needs to be done is to differentiate radical, Islamofascist, Sharia law maniacs and the rest of Islam. you cannot do that without being specific about the "twisted punks". are the twisted punks anything like the JV team?
