In Precourt's tweets yesterday he promised us that the team was "shopping hard" through the transfer deadline. I was so inspired by this dedication by our owner that I too wanted to emulate him. So far I've bought new swim trunks for my trip to the beach next weekend, and booked a hotel for my visit to Rome next month. The transfer window doesn't close till midnight and I plan on shopping hard all the way through. Hell, I may even buy a bottle of Beefeater after visiting the gym, after I shop hard for a recovery shake. How have you shopped hard today #ForColumbus?
I'm going fishing for the first time come Saturday up at Alum Creek Reservoir with some buddies, so I bought a reel and rod.
I tried to #shophard on records and books. However, I decided that none of them would improve my current first XI so i didn't actually buy anything.
I also decided to shop for a Joy Division t-shirt but didn't want to spend the $225 for the one at Barneys. http://www.stereogum.com/1892119/barneys-selling-200-black-flag-joy-division-t-shirts/news/ So i went to the thrift store and paid $5 for the one I threw out years ago as not being good enough.
I'm going to Germany (Dusseldorf and Munich) and Czech Republic (Prague) for three weeks next month so I've been shopping for that trip. If you are lucky, I might even take some selfies with my Crew gear.
bought womens panties, cat litter, rechargeable batteries, and to get free shipping a tube of equate brand personal lube from Walmart (discover and ebates cash back).
You should get down to Cologne if you have a chance.... There's some nice places to eat along the river in Dusseldorf. And Uerige in the Altstadt is interesting (brew pub). Have fun!
actually I guess my Trifecta would be Koln, Munich and Pilsn but Dusseldorf isn't bad and Prague is only about 45 min from Pilsn (birthplace of ......... Pilsner). Fresh Pilsner Urquel is soooooo good.
