I'm hopeful we see the 4-4-2 again. Wouldn't mind seeing Elis or Manotas paired with Ramirez. Also think maybe worth giving Pena time there since the 4-4-2 seems more his style than the 4-3-3 fast-break that we've been playing.
Do they oppose cancer and disease as well? Did they graduate from HS with a history credit? yes, these are the clowns the FO is embracing to sell tickets
I guess we should be vigilant none the less. Apparently The National Socialist German Workers' Party has "risen in our lands".
My God, people love drama. We need like an actual threat, meteor, angry aliens something. People need dragons to fight and when they don't have them they must change the definition. Never seen any Nazis in Houston, doubt they would like soccer anyway. Oh, and waving a flag isn't resistance. Funny thing about history, I'm a history teacher, this resistance stuff comes from the French Resistance, heralded as impactful against the Nazis. Truth, they weren't, MI-6 stopped helping them because they were more interested in fighting each other over minor policy decisions. After the war, every Frenchman that had ever not held a door open for a German labeled himself a part of the Resistance.
not trying to take a side, but this is incorrect! - used to see a group of them at punk rock and local metal shows back in the 80s - in the 90s had to do a double take when i went to a house party and saw 2 of them. one pulled down his shirt collar to show me his tattoo when i walked by. i knew a lot of the people at the party from the Houston music scene so i felt safe. however, left the party pretty early to avoid any trouble. (i regret leaving this party so much because i was invited by one of the girls that threw it. in 90s parlance she was F.I.N.E.) - about 10 years ago went to visit a client in Montgomery. there were 4-5 guys doing some welding work on his metal shed. young guy threw up his forearm to show me his huge swastika tattoo. who i guess to be his dad had the SS lightening bolts on his neck. again not taking a side, but i partied for 3 decades in this town and can tell you there's everything in h-town.
It's not incorrect as I said I had not seen one. I cannot speak for anyone else. I don't deny that in a city of millions there aren't a few. What I'm saying is that they would appear to rather insignificant.
understood! and i have no idea what happened at NYC. not saying you, btw. i was just saying there's some sheltered, naive people who believe that sht like that doesnt happen in Houston. it does.
Then El Battalion should have gone up to the NYCFC game last week. Loser protester troublemakers looking for a cause. Maybe the saw the Blues Brothers movie last week and got some ideas about the Nazis
I rather see people bringing orange flags, and leaving whatever political views they have outside the stadium. I wouldn't like to see a soccer match turn into a sort of political rally. There is a lot of labeling going on and people that fall for these "false dilemmas", that is, if I don't agree with bringing the country flag of my origin, then I am a fascist, nationalist, hater.
It’s like everyone coming and bringing an American flag would be viewed as “nationalist”. Once again, mostly troublemaking losers who the FO is hitching their wagon to, which will probably end up in a ditch and stripped of all metal and with no rims.
Wasn't it that they waved a Palistinian flag while Israeli's were playing or vice-versa -- or something like that?
