I noticed the below didn't get posted - A&E/Hearst Media pulled out of their broadcast deal AND as an equity partner in the league. The below article has about as much spin as I saw by trying to sell your major national TV partner pulling out as an "opportunity" but reality is this says the games don't draw dick on their own http://www.forbes.com/sites/howardm...eague-without-broadcast-partner/#635800cb5a66 Washington Post had a little more balance take http://www.washingtonpost.com/sport...tworks-major-investor/?utm_term=.cb0fbd41e5c5 "Less than two months before its seventh season will begin, the National Women’s Soccer League on Wednesday lost a major investor and its national broadcast partner. In a clear setback to the women’s game, the NWSL announced A&E Networks will return its estimated 25 percent equity in the league and no longer carry matches on the Lifetime channel. The contract was supposed to run through the 2019 season." But what incredible spin below !!!!! "With team owners controlling the league and its commercial properties, Duffy said, “this is a welcome element for expansion conversations that new team owners would be excited about.”"
Why don’t they just change the name to VSL - Victim Soccer League. These folks just never are satisfied with anything - oh, and if it was so well known in the soccer community why didn’t you speak up about it earlier???? http://mobile.twitter.com/H_C_Carter/status/1099693309021306881 They complain about the old owner because he played the anthem before Rapinoe disgraced herself by kneeling for it so they drive him out and now they hate the new guy because he hired a coach his kids played for. And you wonder why this league goes nowhere forward. Who needs the hassle to lose money? Owners can blow thru money a lot easier than dealing with social justice warriors who don’t buy tickets.
The one thing! I mean the one f'n thing that our nation's sports culture got correct decades ago with association football was that we let our women play earlier than any other nation save China or Canada. So the women's side of the sport gets the Tier 1 athlete unlike the men's side and and thus it was the one avenue for our sports culture to make sure the women's side of the sport here in our nation was always done with integrity in the board room and class out on the field. Which was there in the plans post 1999 success. It's just so many in soccer in our nation have their own agenda and mindset, we are so fractured at so many levels, that even the women's game finds ways to crush its own growth and bleed money. I'm not saying the NWSL should be the NFL or the NBA but certainly it shouldn't remind us that enjoy pro soccer of the indoor scene with teams and leagues coming and going decade after decade. You just nailed Precourt's target market group for his MLS venture in Austin! HAHA!

Was Sebastian Salazar always this left wing socialist liberal? Lalas asks a legit question - would NWSL fold if USSF stops subsidizing the league - and everyone turns it into some referendum on their support for women. The Title IX Princesses just sued the Federation so everything is gonna be fair game from here on out, no matter how it seems to be “on the wrong side of history” to the left side http://mobile.twitter.com/SebiSalazarFUT/status/1105546885031493641

Jeez, this is why a good number of folks get turned off of teams and their fan base, complaints like the below. Maybe their coverage is down because because the Dash haven’t drawn dick the last few years (how’s that for an appropriate pun about the size and composition of the fanbase !!!!) http://www.reddit.com/r/dynamo/comments/baxek8/why_is_the_dash_version_of_the_slice_shorter_than/
I’m waiting for village idiot Web Tilton to weigh in next!! It’s Trumps fault no one goes to Dash games!!!
I'm more excited about the Dash this year in terms of making the playoffs and being capable of winning it all then I am about the Houston Dynamo IMHO. I'm not counting minutes of video or number of videos or any stupid compare contrast between the two. I will say that the lack of media coverage for the Dash puts a heavier burden on the front office to help carry the responsibility of marketing/advertising for the team.

I see Canetti still has his creative and selective editing skills by taking a picture of showing only the sections of the stadium with fans in for the Dash. The announced attendance today was like 4,335 which translated into the Canetti Attendance System would have yielded an announced crowd of 7,200 http://mobile.twitter.com/ChrisCanetti/status/1117599454486568961

Now, I can't let this one from Mr. Circle of Suck slide by - apparently he has some very severe vision problems or the upper deck of the stands are filled with creatures like Randall from Monsters Inc. that can cloak themselves in invisibility because I don't see the west side as "completely full". Canetti tried the same thing just by cropping out the upper deck. And of course village idiot webtilton with a tweet back - apparently he ran out of anti-Trump material for the day. 1117557037670572033 is not a valid tweet id
Missed this one - Mother Nature may be a Dash supporter but she sure isn't buying many tickets Also, the whole Dash "the F" on thing? Am I missing something or is that not family friendly? 1117459080568803329 is not a valid tweet id
i was at the Dash game, it was a great crowd, it was a fun game, it had a dramatic ending. don't knock it because a few operate in a state of hyperbole. btw - i think it was brilliant for the FO to limit Dash seating to the lower. about time. its not like youre going to lose millions of revenue by letting people pay $15 instead of $25 to sit in the lower bowl. Dash the fk on you mthrfking mthrfckers!!!!!!!!!!
