This is a stretch, but Vida posted a small blog article about this 6 yr old kid who is currently in negotiations with the club Cocotero. They said he shows high quality of potential and hope to see him turn into another young star for the futbol factory that is, C.D.S. Vida. Lets be honest.. kid is 6 playin streetball in La Ceiba lol. But hay, I've seen crazier things happen for the good in La Ceiba regarding future National Team prospects, so I won't write him off for another 11-13 years https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFw5eHTuP8P_GekLU7UYp1w/videos?flow=grid&view=0
Both, Ivan Moncada (FC Metz) and Enrique Amador (Leixoes) have been promoted from U-17 to U-18 squads. They're both 16 and might receive U-17 call-ups for the upcoming U-17 CONCACAF Championship.
A couple of future stars scored over the weekend. Ricky Barrios scored for Motagua in their 2-1 win over Platense and Junior Lacayo the 17 yr old starlet of Victoria scored his first ever brace in La Liga Nacional over La Makina.
I hope him and Enrique Amador get called-up.. two kids who more than deserve to be on the U-17 World Cup roster.
http://diez.hn/Secciones/Legionario...on-Palacios-exportaria-jugadores#.UXBg_BzOxAM So Wilson Palacios Academy has already inked partnerships with three clubs from abroad. They are EPL side, Stoke City, MLS side, DC United, and Costa Rican side, La Liga Alajuelense. Stoke City I assume because he currently plays there, and Alajuelense because Jerry Palacios plays there.. but regardless.. its a great experience for these young kids who will have an opportunity and shot to test themselves to see if they can gain a higher level of training with these three teams from abroad. Each team will visit, scout, and evaluate these kids atleast two times a year to see if they have what it takes to make the jump.
New Honduran youngster within the MLS Academy system, his name is Pierluigi Cassiraghi, his mom is from Puerto Cortes, dad is Ceibeno and was named after the legendary Italian International. He's a 17 yr old Winger/Attacker and plays for the Sporting Kansas City Academy.
So 17 yr old Junior Lacayo marked his 4-5th goal of the season with Victoria last night in their 2-1 repechaje defeat to Savio in Santa Barbara de Copan. This kid is on fire.. he's definitely the future.
Junior Lacayo with ANOTHER BRACE TODAY!! to carry Victoria over to the semi-finals of La Liguilla!!! Victoria beat 2-0, and Lacayo scored both goals.. both exquisite goals from the 17 yr old!! The New Tyson Nunez!! Man this kid is the now and future. He scored all three goals of the Liguilla tie over Savio home and away, and marked his 7th goal of the season!
