Yes, first cousin. I don't see him very often these days since that side of the family lives in Kansas City, so I couldn't tell you a whole ton about his game right at this moment. But growing up he's always been very skilled on the ball and an explosive attacker that always looked for every single scoring chance. And his dream is definitely to play for Honduras so if he ever gets a chance, he will make sure he takes complete advantage of it. He's a real "fighter".

So why don't you root for Honduras like your cousin? :D

btw is there a real chance he ever graduates into the Sporting Kansas City senior team as a HG player?

Haha well I always just felt more love for the US since I was born and raised here. I've been rooting for the USMNT since I can remember. Though Honduras gets my 1000000% support against anyone other than the US. I had literal tears of joy when they qualified for 2010.

I'm not sure to be honest. I'm not really right in there with him so I couldn't tell you how the coaches see him or anything like that but from what I see on twitter and facebook, he is playing pretty often so he can't be doing bad at the moment.

Oh you too?? lol How do you live with so many Honduran fans everywhere in the city rooting against the US. I remember watching the US - Honduras game in which we won 2-1 with a bunch of random people at a restaurant. Glorious scenes.

Oh it's hard. Especially considering the fact that I'm in my US kit on matchday lol. I was at Walmart on last day of matches and I was the only one in a US kit in a sea of white and blue kits with a few green shirts.

Yea, thats true.. next day of school, whether high school or college you see nothing but Honduran jerseys on or under uniforms. Got a couple of buddies who will be in Utah for the game.

So Fajardo came out today to say that the Lacayo to Santos move was false and he's close to signing with West Ham.

Also seems like El Choco Lozano will not continue at Valencia.. I never saw the hype in this kid. Hopefully he can return to Olimpia and develop further.

Lacayo is our response to Costa Ricas Joel Campbell , but i hope this kid does turn into the next David Suazo cause we need better quality Strikers than Costly and Bengston.

So the 18 yr old Honduran Cristiano Ronaldo (more for his looks than his game), Julio Serra, is on trial with defending champs Olimpia in Siguatepequez. 10 day trial in which Juan Carlos Espinoza will be observing him very closely.

While 15 yr old Elber Verde who was born and raised in the United States (San Jose), to Honduran parents has come to trial for Olimpia over his summer break in the hopes of landing a spot on the team. So far he's looked promising in training. He's an #10 or plays out wide as a volante.

Honduras finished in 3rd place winning bronze at the Dana Cup for the U-16-17 Division. They beat Norway 5-0, beat India 3-0, tied Sweden 2-2, and lost to Macedonia 1-0.

They beat Argentina in the knock-out rounds aswell as a German side and French side before falling to a Danish side in the Semis..
