At home or with thousand of ticos in the stands, and even on neutral turf--Honduras beating Costa Rica in futbol games has happened often.

The question is how often has it happened and what is the all-time record between the two?

Let the friendly discussion leading up to next month's friendly begin :)

    No ;)

In all honestly I can't wait for the pre-pubescent boyish nervousness my Costa Rican friends 'round these parts feel before playing Honduras....

The all time record between Costa Rica and Honduras is:

    18 Costa Rica wins
    14 Honduras wins
    15 Draws

Also worth noticing is that Honduras has never lost a match in Costa Rican soil since 1960. I don't know why the Americans say that Costa Rica is almost unbeatable there.

hello all, just wanted to add some more information about the game being played in Hartford, CT. on the 9th of Sept. Hartford is located about 1 hour and a half drive from either NYC or Boston and there are also 2 casinos within a 30 minute ride of the stadium and a few nice spanish restaurants within 15 minute drive from the stadium. The stadium is rather new and seats about 40,000 people but most of the seats are metal bleachers. Here I'm also adding a link to ticketmaster if anyone is interested. It seems the prices are a little different then advertised. Spread the word lets see if we all can fill up this stadium no matter what team people follow.

This would be a sick lineup but the problem is we have to conserve to have a good bench. So i would probably say leaving amado benched and having fresh legs out there to put Ramon Nunez. Also Amado and Rambo cant really play together they both wants to do everything .This would be my lineup tell me what you think.
    --------------Valladares--------------

    ----------------Samuel Caballero---------Maynor Figeroa----------

    Bonieck Garcia-----------------------------------------------Ivan Guerro

--Edgar Alvarez ------ Ramon Nunez --------Maynor Suazo--

    ---------------------Rambo De Leon ------------------------

    ----------David Suazo ----------------------Carlo Costly----------

    1st Sub Pavon for Costly
2nd Sub Amado for Ramon Nunez
3rd Sub Emil Martinez for Maynor Suazo

Im guessing Medford will use a 3-5-2 and probably go with this lineup.

    -----------------------------J.F. Porras-----------------------------------

    --------M. Umana---------------V. Cordero----------G. Badilla--------------

    R. Myrie--------------------------------------------------------G. Segares

    -------------------------R. Azofeifa-----------------------------------

    --------------W. Centeno----------------------B. Ruiz-------------------

    -------------------------O. Rojas----------------------------------------

    -------------------------------------------A. Saborio----------------------

Cristian Bolanos, Marvin Angulo, Pablo Herrera, Ronald Gomez, and Allan Aleman will probably be his favorite choices as subs.

Due to an injury this past weekend...Cristian Bolanos will not be playing against Honduras and Canada....and his place will be taking by Danny Fonseca
