I'm somewhat confused on the homegrown eligibility for players. Is it for the developmental academy teams only? Or can a player on a FCD Premier team also be signed to a homegrown contract?
Not sure the answer on it, but i'm trying to figure out a situation where a player on the premier team who was good enough for FCD to sign a pro contract with, wouldn't be moved over to the DA team.
Yeah that's the idea but players slipping through the cracks seems to be America's MO so I was just curious.
