If Bolton didnt suck so hard and/or if Gomes hadnt come up big, Stu would have 2-4 assists

Actually, Wilshere has been playing centrally in league play. Tamir Cohen has paired with Muamba most of the year.

I think his best chance for a spot is centrally next to Muamba. Coyle favors a defense holding mid (Muamba) with a skillful player like Wilshere or Holden.

That's what I was saying. Wilshere and Weiss were not even available for this game, and Lee is on the bench.

Someone please tell me Bolton have better players than this... If so, I can see Stu working some magic with the regular 11.

Holden with a decent free kick, Lee heads it nowhere. I dunno what he was doing with that.

They don't. Gary "Megatron" Megson kept them afloat by playing miserable, overly physical, unwatchable, stoic football. He was only successful in disguising the fact they're one of the less talented rosters in the EPL.

After the game check the match ratings, you will find Stu the highest rated among the hapless wanderers, which in turn with spur OC to play him, hopefully in a more advanced role, in league games. But I suspect it will be coming off the bench, he does look a bit tired.

    86''
Stu with a blocked first-time shot on target, then he takes a solid corner.

I'm sure his performance today has earned him AT LEAST a spot on the bench next league game, and probably a sub appearance depending on how the game is going. Coyle seems to like him.

When Pavlyuchenko is scoring 2 goals on you, you have a problem.

Danny Rose is the luckiest kid in class, scuffs a cross and it falls to the RED HOT RUSKI... 4 goals in less than 2 hours, not bad for someone who had been sitting for months.

That was such an awkward looking goal. But they all count the same. And that was terrible defending.
