From a tactical point of view Nagelsmann's Hoffenheim has been one of the most exciting and versatile sides in the Bundesliga, so they have the ability to adapt to varying Bayern attack patterns whether it's a 4-1-4-1 with Müller and Lewandowski central or Bayern's go-to 4-3-3.

The far superior individual quality should lead to a Bayern win in the end, but it will be an interesting game.

Xabi Alonso has been playing great.

And Hoffenheim are not a diving team, eh?, props to them.

We've been underwhelming under CA. We've dropped points in 3 games now and struggled in games we've won.

If this continues in 2017 and we go trophyless, it's time to move on from CA...

I'm getting tired watching this team struggle and be inconsistent week in and week out :/

if Red Bull win tomorrow we are tied with 24 pts...

not a fan of Pep (glad he's gone) but the team was better under him.

We played better domestically under him then CA has so far...

The CL could make or break CA IMO. If we do worse then pep then it's time to move on in summer 2017.

So far CA has been the most underwhelming since LVG 2011...

@Dhajj I dont know your age but sure u'r very younger than me; I follow FCB since I was born, in the magical 70's a was a little child but able to watch Bayern on TV, my father had sympathy for Germany and FCB and trasmitted that to me, remember in 1974 we watched the final with Atletico 1:1 then 4:0 together.
This is not the worse Bayern til van Gaal 2011, this is the worse Bayern everytime. Of course football changed but I never saw an inconsistent way to play kind this, we started fine in august smashing Doofmund for the supercup and with 6:0 to Bremen, in Jena was a friendly, then we start sucking, schon mit Schalke where we won 2:0 in the last minutes, dont look only the results but the bad way to play.
With Guardiola I rated him as a zero in the 1st game, we lost 4:2 in Dortmund the supercup, with CA I preferred to wait but now I have to admit Carlo is not for us, he ever played 4-3-1-2 and without wingers, with Milan he played so in front:
    Gattuso-Pirlo-Seedorf (Ambrosini)
    Kakà
    Sheva-Inzaghi (Crespo)
We have not this kind of players in the roster and consider he had the best defender all the world, a certain Paolo Maldini.........so with Juve too same tactic with Zidane number 10 and Del Piero and Trezeguet strikers.
FCB has not a number 10 and 2 strikers so he plays this way without sense to me- stop:oops::oops::oops::alien::alien::alien::coffee::coffee::coffee::inlove::inlove:

You're right about the results not reflecting the entire picture of our team.

Many of our games we've struggled against ALL kinds of teams and we haven't had a single dominating statement game since the opening.

    This is very worrying

"Only as good as our opposition"

    Remember struggling against Cottbus?! [emoji35]

    The patience is running thin.

But if it's worse by the end of the season then CA needs to go and questions/pressure needs to be sent to our FO.

We need to spend big on attackers to replace robbery and we need a RB to take over Lahm.

Relying on robbery to save us yet again is unacceptable

Carlo's extremely heavy rotation of the squad, is part of the problem. So to is the fact that we are playing a new formation, and some players are taking time to reach their peak levels (Coman, Vidal, Sanches).

I would reserve judgement for the spring time.

One massive improvement is the performance of our outside backs. They already have 13 assists this season. Last season they only had 14 for the entire season.

I'm not saying we don't need to improve but peaking late Autumn is almost always a bad sign:D
