So one difference I see is that the CdR final is in April and La Liga is shut-down during the weekend of that final. So not reaching the final would mean a full week of rest in the middle of the busy time of the year (and right before having to play possibly Atletico and a UCL semifinal a 4-day span). Might be a good season to lose in the CdR quarters.
26 man squad named for Asia tour well Japan tour but hopefully all of Asia will be tuning in. The two matches this squad will be involved in are: Tuesday 23rd July vs Chelsea in Tokyo Saturday 27th vs Vissel Kobe in Kobe What the graphic/list above doesn't show is who is missing. To me it looks like mainly South American and African players who featured in the recent cups: Messi, Suarez, Arthur, Coutinho, Vidal and promising Senegal Barca B player Wague (RB).
"Barcelona have announced record revenue for the sixth season running with the club closing their accounts for the 2018-19 season with a recorded income of €990 million ($1.1 billion). It's the second season running in which the Spanish champions have broken the billion-dollar mark. They became the first sports team to ever pass the milestone last year when they brought in €914m ($1.019 billion). However, the club's spending was also up, with expenses hitting €973m ($1.085 billion). A pre-tax operating profit of €17m ($19m) is down on the €20m ($22m) they posted last season."
From what I have read it probably would not include FDJ in the profit and loss for 18/19, or if it did, would only include a pro-rated amount of his transfer fee (even though all the fee may have been paid it 18/19). I believe that Barca spreads the transfer fee over the duration of the contract (to better 'normalize' the expense). So a player who is signed for 50M, and has a contract which pays 10M a season for five years, would be a 20M expense in each of his first 5 seasons, thereafter, if he stays at Barca, only his Barca salary is counted as an expense (as is the case with all La Masia raised players). So things get dicey when we have players who don't work out. If we loan out the same player in the example for seasons 3, 4, and 5, to a club which pays his salary, then we still record an expense of 10M a season for the pro-rated transfer fee. If instead we sell that same player for 20M after season 2, then rather than a 20M gain on the sale, we have to take a 10M hit in season 3 (we paid 50M, had expensed 10M each in seasons 1 and 2, so 30M was to be expensed in 3, 4, and 5; instead we sold 'at a loss' and had to recognize that loss 30M still not expensed offset by the 20M we received=10M loss all recognized in season 3). These kinds of accounting details are one reason why teams will often loan out a player rather than sell him, when it is a very expensive player on a very high salary. See Arda Turan. Of course when you are on a huge wage bill and fail there are often few clubs who can afford to both pay your salary and also pay a transfer fee, so the loan may work well for both clubs (more so for the borrowing club if the lending club still pays some of the salary, or has to take the player back if the borrowing club change its mind at any point).

This is ridiculous, if true: [Onda Cero] | Suarez and Griezmann did not speak and did not even look at each other during the first training together. Remember Suarez once accused the French in old statements where he told him; ‘You are French and do not know what the feelings of being Uruguayan’.
Griezmann said a few weeks ago that Suarez called him and congratulated him on the move. It's just newspapers trying to stir things up.
