Firmino has been absolute garbage for Brazil. One of those players that if you take out of Liverpool's system, he will be half as effective.

Didn't they just win Copa America and the CONMEBOL WC qualifying easily? I agree its not vintage Brasil but you shouldn't need to be on either the best or second-best team in the world to look like a great player (unless you're not a great player).
And? Yes, the Argentina Messi isn't as dominating as the Barca Messi (blah blah blah...), but he is still very good. Approaching 90 goals for his country which would be outrageous by any other standard. Firmino has 12 (more than halfway through his career).
Firmino scored 16 goals last season , 27 the season before ... even though that’s not what he’s judged on by anyone with a modicum of footballing knowledge ..
We're going in circles. No doubt he's a good asset to have on a great team. But there's a reason why he wasn't a household name until Liverpool became really good (i.e. bought Salah, VdD, Alisson, etc.).
... it’s Firmino that makes it all work though .. It’s like a few years ago when Busqs was at his best - when he didn’t play we were an average team - he made the difference
still doesn't seem relevant to the Barcelona season thread. would make more sense in the other teams thread.
