Hmmmm. Tell me more. I only recall his one foolish post from yesterday, which I chalked up as a mistake that we should let pass, as we were all basking in the glow of our marvelous creation at the time . . .

Have there been further transgressions to which I should be made aware?

Ahhh. I see the incident on page 31. Is that what you are referring to?

Yes, this does seem a bit troubling. We must keep a close eye on this one. But, of course, we should not forget that it can be very beneficial to have such a young, eager soldier among our ranks. While he might be irritating in our day-to-day operations, he could prove verrrrrrry useful down the road.

    Capiche?

I respect your opinion, but I would like my concerns to be noted. You must remember that he is meant to be under my command. If he screws up, it comes straight back to me. Look at his current behaviour. He has disappeared again and his contact with the family appears to be descreasing. This troubles me.

Oh, I am aware of the epic showdown tomorrow. However, I must remind you of two crucial points:

    1) Again, note my sig. I remain impartial with regards to The Family at all times. In no way will I allow my other loyalties to cloud my judgment or advice.

    2) Please. Are you lot SERIOUSLY worried that we're going to take your spot in Europe? English media are just feasting on this story because it's sexy. There is not once chance in hell that Liverpool win Europe this year. We're still Liverpool, for christ's sake.

(Note - the question in point 2 was rhetorical. I will frown on any responses. This post was not intended to advance the discussion of colors in this thread, since that has been explicitly barred. I am merely pointing out that not only does my oath to the family tell you I will remain loyal to the cause, but you have nothing to be worried about in the first place.)

Sorry, I gotta giggle for a sec - SuperElf, I had to re-read point two twice, I swear I kept reading it like you thought I was an Everton supporter. :D

    Keee-rist I am tired tonight.

And EL Jefe is in bed already.

Dammit. It's hard being Che Cin.

Of course, Capo. And, since you are his superior, you will be the first to know when his actions cross the line from over-exuberrant to dangerous.

However, I trust you will also remain mindful of the big picture of the goals of The Family. Obviously, any . . . permanent decisions rest in the hands of El Jefe. I'm simply asking that you not allow your judgment (and by extension your recommendations to her) to become impassioned because you are frustrated with the whelp as a result of personal dealings with him.

    I'm sure you understand.

Originally it was implied I was in trouble with El Jefe. That's why I couched the issue in such a manner. As we all know, we must go out of our way to understand her perspective on these matters . . .

True, but in her absence - you gotta deal with me.

And you wouldn't like me when I'm sleepy. ;)

    My dear Capo Bichos:

Next time you feel there are issues of insubordinaton with your underlings, you might want to refer them to this handy reference chart -

My favorite part of that chart is obviously the dotted line.

Three words: plausible deniability, bitches. ;)

God haven't you seen any mob movies? Even though hes under you he's still part of the family, so if you want him whacked, you have to have a sit down with the Boss and you better get an OK, otherwise you're the one who will end up getting whacked.

Well, I'm working on two hours of sleep, so I'm off like a prom dress. You all have my number in case of emergencies . . .

OK, I mean it this time. I'm out. Long live the HHH.
