People have been saying this for decades and yet Mexico still struggles to qualify. It's time to take these qualifiers seriously
I doubt after Chepo's debacle the players will get cocky in any way... They played their hearts out against the nads...
Chile and Colombia are inferior leagues to the Mexican league and a guy being one of the best players in his team, not even the league, in league that is lesser than Mexico's has not done anything to earn a call up to the NT in an official game. This is a key official game, this isn't where players get looks at especially players that have never been in a team. It's insane that it's not even a month since you were talking up the U20 Mexican team and how it was going to crush the US and win the tournament and then they lost clearly to them and suffered at times. And that's in the U20 level, where Mexico has been a lot more dominant in CONCACAF than in the senior level. And now once again you're going with this argument? Mexico is facing the team up top in the leaderboard and a key away game. They are key games and whichever way you look at it. Also to blame it on cockiness as the only thing is a terrible argument. Was Mexico cocky with Aguirre? Were they cocky when they couldn't win game after game in 2013 thru 3 coaches?
Yeah, and we are playing a WC quarterfinalist team first. It doesn't matter if it's not Europe or South America. Playing in front of concacaf refs who let hacking slide by is why this region is difficult to cruise, especially on the road.

Your possible line-up is very close to what I think Osorio is going to send to the pitch. I think the Columbian will place Carlos Salcedo as right wing-back instead of Jesus Duenas.
Yes, correct. Many Osorio Supporters would like Mexico fans to forget that horrible, infamous day that exposed Osorio's profound incompetence. In addition, they enjoy pointing out Mexico wins against very weak teams and ignore the National Team's overall performance in the 90 minutes of those games.
