Reese is a powerful centre-forward who likes to get in goalscoring positions and find the back of the net.

He joined as a first-year scholar from North Carolina, USA, this summer.

That's nice of you to say. Sometimes I worry that my humor is too intellectual for BigSoccer.

    Snip:

Thomasville upset No. 2 seed Carrboro 2-1 in the second round of the 2-A state playoffs on Saturday in Carrboro.

The 15th-seeed Bulldogs got goals from Jose Pantajo and John Najera. Meanwhile, Thomasville’s defense held Carrboro’s Reese Jahoo, who had 45 goals for the season, scoreless.

He's from my backyard! Carrboro HS plays in a low level against either small schools or redneck schools with weak soccer teams. 45g/18a isn't bad but it's not particularly good either. Thomasville over Carrboro was a pretty big upset, as Carrboro hadn't lost to a 2A team all year and had won more than 20 straight games.
