PBP: Hertha vs BVB, Brooks starts, Pulisic on the bench 3/11/2017

One of the best I've seen; the definition of awesome (but that word has lost its impact through overuse).

 

Castro wasn't offsides, but the other CB wasn't level with Brooks, as JAB had stepped up to play a pass right before the giveaway that resulted in Castro's breakaway.

Pulisic replaces Durm at wingback. Kalou has been MOTM and eating up Durm and Bartra. Hopefully, CP can force Kalou to defend.

 

For the contingent that complains Dembele holds the ball too long ... well, so does Pulisic at times.

Surely after the season Tuchel will concede that the Bartra experiment did not work out. Right?

I think Pulisic has looked sharp, but Hertha is just so compact and organized, it's hard to find any way through.

Ugh...Brooks is getting up slow and limping.

 

Brooks is down after a great block on Bartra. Up quickly but not looking comfortable.

 

Someone please tell JAB that he's not allowed to get hurt before March 24th
