MLS allocation list New England is tenth in line for an allocation and it says it's from Columbus, the allocation for Brian McBride's transfer. What did we get from New England in exchange for that? In addition, I guess, Dallas's thirteenth allocation is from Toronto and Columbus. Does anybody remember the path of that allocation? I'm sure I could find these if I were ambitious enough, but I'm not.

We traded the remainder of the McBride allocation (120K) to NE for two draft picks. The 2006 second rounder we used on Zayner. The 2007 pick was traded to Chivas for Ezra Hendrickson. We also used portions of the McBride allocation to get Mario Rodriguez on loan and traded part to DC for Chris Henderson who was traded to NY for Tim Ward. We traded part of our 2005 YS allocation to Toronto for O'Rourke and Hesmer. They moved it to Dallas for Richard Mulrooney.
