I was just at the Henson exhibit at COSI yesterday. My childhood feels hit me hardcore. Took some pics with some of the actual puppets. They have the actual dress and Bowie's blue frilly suit from Labyrinth. some amazing stuff there. Go, if you can, before it ends on September 2nd.
that's a price I can do. But still looking for a car pool. Anyone else heading down? I don't bite, and will even shower. Also am willing to share cost to help fill up the your tank. Eww possibly relevant I don't drink and could be the designated back home after our victory celebrations.
Nah. If we'd have won the TFC & Cincy home matches, we'd have been within 3 points of a PO spot with 7 games left.
Started the morning off with a whole mess of eggs and goetta. Looking forward to some cheese coneys for lunch. It's gonna be great!
This is amazing. It's on the same level as the Ralph Wiggum "I'm a Sporting" two-stick that is my favorite stadium banner of all time. You, Sir, are a creative genius. Interesting historical side note (because I am that guy). This iconic Sesame Street pair was named after the cop and cab driver from It's a Wonderful Life. Most people probably already know that, I suspect.
Now, for those of us pathetic land-locked and family-locked types who must watch from home but don't have cable, does anyone know of a streaming option other than parting with 25 bucks to subscribe to Sling for a month? Does anyone know if it will be available to stream after the fact on any of the usual places, such as ESPN+? As I ask these questions I am dying on the inside because I am not currently drinking good IPA on a bus en route to that city that gave us Little Kings and the Big Red Machine. Hell is real. And Santos is real, among other things. Enjoy it, you lucky bastards!
Sure, chasing teams with a game in hand in front of us. With 5 out of 7 games left on the road. Let me rephrase this. The season's been over for months for anyone who has watched the season with eyes open to this team's collective performance.
You can do a 7-day trial of most of the streaming services... AT&T Now, and Playstation Vue for sure. It's on FS1.
I could also be argued that the season was over before it even began, considering the FO turmoil making any real changes to an aging roster impossible. But that argument only works if you consider anything less than a championship a failure.
We saw many Crew supporters walking around Over The Rhine this morning. Hoping for a big away supporter turnout in the stadium today. Even though both clubs have had a rough season, this rivalry could be amazing long term.
I'm so bummed that I couldn't make the trip for this. I hope it winds up being worth it for everyone that did.
