Europe is and should always be the first option but if Layun doesn't have offers from european teams and won't get minutes with Porto then he should come back, I'll rather just be it a loan though, a good WC could get him more offers from Europe.

Doesn't really matter to JCO though. He'll just play CBs in those positions.

Alternative to Telles I will say expect him to play central defensive midfielder more often

I'd go, he'll have a better shot at getting a starting spot, and he'll play in the Europa League.

Considering his chances Zenit looks good, better than coming back to Mexico.

Corona starting, Herrera and Reyes bench, and Layun nowhere to be seen.

Why did Reyes come back for a bench role after being one of the best cb in la liga. Like why? Did they not want to buy him?

Makes me wonder what the scouts are thinking. He outplayed Inigo Martinez every game when they played together yet he's not the one Barcelona are after.

Barca added Reyes to a short list of players they were considering after his stint with Real Sociedad. Nothing came of it, of course.
