¿'Tecatito' de lateral? 🤨El mexicano ha desempeñado esa posición y tiene números de élite 😯 https://t.co/vC1NDk7rv9— ESPN.com.mx (@ESPNmx) November 27, 2018
Corona on a hot streak. Porto looking to make another run this champions. If Herrera stays the whole season I can see them making the last 4.
Yup. He's in the zone right now, which begs a question: since he's been playing so well since playing as a fullback... will the new Mexican coach, whether it's Tata or anyone else try to play him there?
True. Porto's been well in this CL season but this group is weaker than some EL's to be honest, Schalke 04 is playing to avoid relegation form the Bundesliga and the other 2 teams are just whatever. I can't see Porto making it past QF, which is already Top 8.

They can get lucky depending on how the knockout shapes up... Or do they reseed after every round? If so, then yeah, they would be lucky to get a QF.

I like the idea of having Tecatito play right back. We’re pretty stacked on the wing position, he can become our very own Dani Alves. Chucky and Corona on the same wing. Uuuffff.
Corona as right back? I don't know about that. Does he even have a semblance of a defensive skill to play the position? As much offensive talent Dani Alves has, he is still a good defensive player.
Agreed. What FC Porto needs out of a right back is completely different than what the Mexican NT needs out of a right back. There may be some middle ground here however. If Martino (or whomever the next coach is) veers away from having wide forwards and utilizes a more standard formation with traditional wingers then Corona's stint as a right back with his club would, in theory, give Mexico two players (Corona and Lozano) with the ability to be difference makes in the offensive third and a willingness to get behind the ball and pull defensive duty when the situation calls for it.
Jesús Corona has been immense and so has Herrera I can see this team making the Final 4 of the Champions League if things go well with players Marega is another name of a big time player
I would say he is more of a RWB type when utilised there sort of a Dani Alves type of role but make no mistake Porto see him as a RM Would love to see him tested out as a 10
